Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Bruce Eisenmann's new identity?
I was about to e-mail a person posting an ad for ball pythons on venomousreptiles.org ( http://www.venomousreptiles.org/clas...s/detail/23798 for however long it stays up). Strongly smelling the "It sounds too good to be true" stench, I reverse searched the phone number provided in the ad and came up with this:
http://www.whitepages.com/search/Rev...caltime=survey.
Not sure what the most recent news is on Bruce's actions or whereabouts, but I thought I would throw this out there before someone gets burned.

Doing a search on that email address also leads to some deleted posts on another forum. Here is the cached page.

He signs his name as Doc B. within that Ad.

It indeed looks to be Bruce. I ran a google search on the phone number and appear to have hit the jackpot?
He is (or at least as recently as this past March) was posting on a crayfish forum.

The post that came up in google with the phone number & an email address:
I had to use the Cached copy of the post because the link to the post itself from google no longer works. It was an advertisement post and the crayfish site's classified forum is set to automatically deletes old ads after 25 days.

Post subject: Hello from Doc B.
I know Ive been posting here without a intro, well here it is !
My name is Bruce, most my friends call me "Doc" or "Doc B".
I am a biology grad student advisor /prof at a local collage. 6 yrs ago I took ove a delapidated run down roof aquaponics lab and greenhouse. As I know nothing about plants, I had to find something to fill and utilise this huge facillity, and provide a intrest to my Grad students.Crayfish were the answer !. We have water analysis and fauna research going in little field study centers all over the world, so finding specimens wasnt a problem. The aquarium room at the lab is aprox. 40 x 20, there are aquariums even in my office and the greenhouse is full of huge cement vats, I have plenty of room !We have centered until recently with the Cherax and Austrailian types , but are expanding to a few European, and American Varietys, Now Im getting into color morphs. As a educational /research facillity, we can trade and gift from collages and zoos all over the world, so we have some very unique specimens.
The university gave us the current lab, with huge filtration systems, R.O. , U.V. sterilisers, and automatic and computerised water change and analysis sytems. Not really the home Aquarium I know. Our Greenhouse provides not only space but nutriant rich and algea enriched water the little ones thrive on !.
I am allways wanting to trade , even for species we have , just to enrich the genetics, so dont hessitate to ask !
thanks for the forum, and God Bless
Doc. B

Then I decided to run a search off the email address from the post found on the crayfish forum.... another jackpot on a taxidermy forum site... same username as the crayfish site and again with posts as recent as this past March. Unfortunately I cannot view the profile for trying to find additional information as that site is set to only allow registered members to view profiles.

taxidermy is like model building, only most the parts are broken, missing, or just plain dont fit !

Apparently on the taxidermy site, there are TWO people using that account. Bruce and some 14 year old named Richie (or so bruce claims in a post). There was a thread I found that apparently they got ripped off on ebay by someone named "Darrel" (no last name given) of Darrell's Taxidermy (email darrell985@hotmail.com).

The other site hit was for http://www.aquaboards.com (the forums used by people advertising on aquabid.com). Apparently Bruce (?) was bidding on auctions over at aquabid.com last summer and got locked out of his paypal account and the person holding one of the auctions was complaining on the aquaboards forums of the bidding results and not getting payment and thought the excuse given him about the bidder being locked out was a scam attempt.

First excuess used his kid, this is his last email,,I have had paypal for years, and never heard of this,it will be 8 days tomarrow,,Need your input before I leave feedback,However I see he has bids on other auctions Ussername Kingcobrakidd ,,Here is his last email to me..
we have had a problem with the paypal remote security device we bought, and it is keeping us from using paypal, I had sent a email to you regarding this I thought,
It has screwed up our ebay and your payment, they promise to have it corrected this week, and I apologise, paypal in its infinate wisdom, recomended I just contact my sellers and let them know,
I am VERY sorry for the slow payment
attached below is the letter I sent out this morning.
I promise I will get this taken care of as soon as possible
I personally contacted Paypal about our new security device and the issues it has presented by locking our acct. Their Answer was that they promise to have the situation remedied this week. Our security device has been returned to Paypal. However they havent disconected the security device from my acct or sent me a new one in a timley manner.
This is not my fault. if you look at my fedback records you will see I am a immedeate payer and a fast payer,my record is clean.
This however has damaged my credibillity, and left all my working capital ($1700) in limbo and untouchable until our security device is replaced.
I beg your forgiveness in this issue and as soon as I have the acct clear I will immedeatly send payment.
I have been to the bank this morning to secure a loan until this is repaired , I am doing all I can to get you paid.
please, I beg you , give me just a little more time to get you paid
I am embarrassed and at your mecy, but this really was not my fault

He had an ad for a male spider, female super pastel, male pastel, and female normal for $800. It obviously threw up some red flags.
