Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is that a false water cobra? I haven't seen many of them. Don't they have venom? Won't the wife be mad? Sorry for all the questions. Don't know anything about these guys at all. Nice looking snake though. What's the temperment like?

I hook him out just in case but he is very mellow once you are holding him. FAST!!!!!! You would not believe how fast these guys are.

She's heard of bulls and was not a fan.
With her, it's not the price of something but rather if she would be alright with an animal that determines if it comes here or not. :shrug01:
She knows this is rear-fanged (just like a hognose which she is OK with :D ) but she has seen that it is non-agressive so it's alright to be here.
Calling it a FWC would have given it a bade vibe.

Yep. Wes is the only person I would think of going to regarding getting one of these.

Ludicrous speed would be a good way to describe how these things move. :rofl:

What really surprises me is that he comes right out and into your hand. No fear whatsoever. BP's tend to sit there and then you pick them up. The Childrens pythons are curious and will check out what you are doing but this one. Man, comes right over and out.
 
No, I am beginning to think that they actually think. They are quite unlike any other species of snake I've kept.
 
I'm telling you. I have never seen a snake that acts like this one (and I have had quite a few different types over the years).
Some think retics are smart......Well this snake has already shown he has something going on in that head.
He rushes to the front, sticks his head out, looks up at me, and when I put my hand out slowly crawls up. That is freaky.
You are completley right when you say these are unlike any other snakes. Active all day and no fear whatsoever. Actually seems to be interested in what is going on around him.
The wife actually thinks this guy is nice. That is not something that usually happens.
 
They definitely have a personality all of their own....when they look at you, you actually wonder what's going on in their heads, lol.

I missed it.
I put a thawed rat pink in, walked away for about a minute, came back and he was already done.
Fastest eater I have ever seen (or not seen LOL).
 
DUDE, They are eating machines. You will love it. One thing about them is they eat......lol
