(Inguiry)Rare Pythons

Anybody dealt with them? Website looks good just havn't heard much about them. I'm trading some morphs for different hets.

I have not heard of or dealt with them, but one thing that would concern me is with such a large scale operation (2,500 eggs for '08), why isn't there a name anywhere on the website? Who is/are the breeder(s). I personally don't know of anyone who has a company such as this that wants no credit for what is produced (let me know if the name is located in a hidden place or something...I couldn't find it).

I would personally hold off on any deal until I had good references on them from some long established names in the hobby. Without references, I'd need to see the snakes in person or have dated photos of the parents of said hets w/ the breeder and a copy of this person's ID to verify he/she at least has the ingredients so to speak. Copulation, ovulation, incubation, hatch photos a plus. This may sound unreasonable, but this is my post-scam criteria for dealing in hets w/ ANYONE I don't know. Do a search on Ace Reptiles for more details...LOL..DOH!

If neither option is possible, you may want to deal with someone with a long standing trusted reputation in this hobby. There are some guys out there who would rather chop of an appendage than screw someone and have their rep damaged.

We agreed on a trade of my '05 male spider and '05 male pastel, both proven many times and have some size to them for his '07 het albino female and '07 het pied female and I would pay shipping for both myself and him too. He sent pics and weights of his snakes(306, 190) and said he has photos to prove genetics. I sent him pics of mine breeding, post shed pics, etc. His website is very nice but like you said 2,500 eggs, and I have never heard of them before? I do not have a last name, just Chris I think it was. Any help appreciated! I don't wanna get burned on hets after reading some bad stories on here. This BOI is the best thing that has happened in years!

just wanna add my 2 cents. it doesn't sound like much of a good deal to me. i would think someone claiming to have 2500 eggs would have plenty of male spiders and pastels on hand. i never heard of or delt with this guy but i dont wanna see anyone get burned.

Thanks guys! I don't think I will do the trade untill I hear someone that has dealt with him. 2,500 a year someone would have to pop up. I might have to sell the spider and pastel outright and buy from someone reputiable.

Their site looks good but "we will have access to" are words that make me think of bruce eisenman and carolina reptile exchange.

Maybe they're 100% legit but you would think someone would have heard of an operation producing that many babies.

This is what I came up with after doing a "Who is" on GoDaddy. The information below came from his site sunlightsheds.com which is listed as the administrative contact on rarepythons.com. Rarepythons.com was only registered on 12/30/07

I have never heard of the guy either
