    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I need any information you guys might have regarding the following individual:

Anthony Armijo
7751 88TH STW
BRIDGEVIEW, IL 60455

He goes by Hank and uses the email address [email protected]

Google maps has a streetview of this address and it appears to be commercial in nature. I have verification from Paul Rothenbach that he lives in the south suburbs of Chicago and that he frequents a local pet store (could that be what is in the map?) and that he also attends the local reptile show at the fairgrounds (what used to be the Lee Watson show).

If anybody knows anything else regarding this "Hank" I would appreciate you emailing the information to me at [email protected]. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

While I had no intention of adding anything to this thread, I just received an email from a potential customer wanting to know what the final outcome of this transaction was. I tried to email him back (Mike Combs) but his email bounced.

Long story short, this "Hank" is a complete deadbeat loser. We had worked out a roughly $6000 deal for my animals and supplied. He was to meet me at my old house with his trade portion (4 wheeler etc) and then pick up the animals etc. About an hour before we were to meet, he called telling me that his 4 wheeler (which he kept at his deer camp) was stolen and now he was working with the local authorities. He was suppose to call me back and let me know how things worked out etc.

I called the local police and was told that they received no reports of thefts (I also called the county as well). Hank then disappeared off the face of the planet and would not return phone calls etc. He is still out there advertising animals and trying to purchase new one's. And, the people who have dealt with him in the past only know him by his nickname of Hank and do not know his real name. So, long story short, this deadbeat is still out there and I would encourage everyone to now waste their time with him!

Update...

While I realize this thread is 2 years old, I feel that it should be brought back up to warn everyone that this "Hank" is up to it again. He will deal with you and then at the last minute, when it comes down to actual time for the deal... you don't hear from him ever again! Sellers, buyers and traders beware! :NoNo:

"Hank" wanted to purchase a sunglow female that we had up for sale the beginning of August. In speaking with him he had mentioned that he had a motley het albino male. On the 3rd we agreed to do a partial trade. He was supposed to ship the motley to us on Wed Aug 4th. and would pay the balance for the sunglow within the month. He sent us an email later that night stating that he just got in a check and could pay the balance off with a check and send the motley (& check) on Monday if it was ok with us. Sunday he called... wanted to back out of the trade portion to sell the motley locally. Told him that I had plans for the motley and wanted to still get him as partial trade. He agreed to continue with the deal and said that he would ship him and a check for the balance on Monday(9th). Monday came and went... no tracking info... Tuesday no snake, no payment. I tried contacting him. He never returned my call or sent an email or anything....
 
i also hade a deal go south with hank or whatever his name is.i heard to many diffrent stories from him it made me dizzy,so for two week's i was waiting for a money order that
never came.and know he wont answer his phone so i just reposted the add forget this guy
even if he had cash in hand i will never sell him a thing.
