    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK.. so I got camera happy with my new babies today.

They have all had their first shed, and have now eaten 2 fuzzies each!!!!


I am DEFINATELY keeping the little pastel.. .. and THINKING about keeping a male to breed to mom to see what is going on with the whole.. granite thing..

first.. one photo of each of the normals.. then.. a good handful of photos to show off my pride and joy baby :p


what do you all think?? and just so you know.. this is all natural lighting on my bed :p

my next batch is due to hatch at the end of this month.. and my scissor fingers are getting itchy. HA HA HA HA

Not sure of the pastel though. It looks awesome but I think you will need to send it here for a closer examination. :rofl:

Just kidding. Hold onto that pastel. It does not look like a typical pastel.

I contacted the breeder that I got the pastel from.. turns out.. the father to my breeder is a granite pastel..

also.. I have cut the second clutch.. just waiting for them to come out.. and they too mostly show granites.. ha ha.. so I KNOW its the daddy :p and genetic

What is even weirder is he dosnt show the trait! COOL!
 
OMG OMG OMG..

so.. I will start another thread when they are all hatched .. but.. it looks like.. from the second clutch of eggs.. (same male, diff fem) 6 eggs.. all are great looking.. and 5.. count em .. 5 look to be pastel. ha ha ha ha ha ha and the one normal looks to be granite with almost a full stripe.

so far only 2 pastels are out.. they are very.. wild patterned.. but nothing compared to my first girl.. still AWESOME
 
I was also wondering if any of these my come available? It has been while since I have been on the forum. But have changed jobs to one closer to home and shorter days, so hope I can get on more often. Happy for you Brandi
 
Oh yes.. I am not gonna keep 5 dang pastels. HA HA ha.. I figure.. with 3 clutches, I would keep a female from each.

so I will pick my fave girl from this, and possibly keep the normal/granite, cuz it looks like it may have nearly a solid stripe.. hard to tell with it still being in the egg and all though.

I cant WAIT
