    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am a bit heartbroken because I was just scammed out of $650 from the last person to sell me a fennec. He took my money and I haven't heard from him in weeks ;_;

But I think I'm ready to try again (assuming you take check or Paypal or something safer than Western Union - I guess you live and learn >.>)

Wow, that sucks, one of the best rules to follow buying anything on line is to NEVER EVER pay via Western Union, its like giving someone cash with no records, receipts, security, etc. Good luck with the next one.
 
Yeah, I'm still just... completely upset about everything. My fiance uses Western Union all the time for her art commissions and has never had a problem, but I had never used it myself. I was trying to surprise her and figured if she used it it would be okay but... man I was wrong. I didn't realize just how completely I screwed myself until I started trying to find what I could do to try and get my money back. Which is like... nothing cept filing a police report. But from what I'm heard on the BOI (at least for the reptiles) they rarely are able to help either.

I felt like I had lost a child. We had gone through and "fennec-proofed" the house and everything. I still have some..tiny glimmer that he'll show up with some great excuse and I'll still get my little girl.

But in the meantime, I'd like to suck it up and try to get another. Best case scenario maybe I'll end up with two?

Sorry, I shouldn't rant in someone else's thread. Its just been hard!
