March so far in So Cal

Okay since I have had a chance to go out lately and have some goood luck you woould think I would be fine ging a week or two with getting the shakes Well I lost my herping bud since we are on opposite ends of the workweek now. So finding others does not always pan out. So I decided to go out by myself recently.. For a quick 2 hour hike and 2 hours one way and then back it was definetely worth it too me.

First find of the day with 1 minute into the trip AND a LIFER for me. I had ONLY seen 1 DOR in the past..
Thamnophis hammondii - Two-striped Gartersnake In-Situ

Crotalus ruber ruber Red Diamond Rattlesnake In-Situ

Lichanura trivirgata roseofusca Coastal Rosy Boa

It was a fun short trip, I hope I can take you along for a short ride, also you can check out the video from below..Hope you enjoy the video..

Those are some great photos. Ever go to Joshua Tree & hike through the park? I've been a couple of times about a year ago, but all I 'caught' were were flower photos...
