Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Monday is call all member day to stop this HR669. Were trying to overwhelm them with call all day.

I'd love to call everyone, but being in Finland right now, my calls to the U.S. are $1.00 per minute. I just can't do that. I could squeeze in a few, but can't do too many.
 
Every call helps!

So far two aides told me the congressman is opposed to the bill, Wittman and Chaffetz. One was for the bill and even took the time to try to tell me that it wouldn't affect pets, and why. I argued with the bill's wording in front of me, in a polite debating manner. I also thanked him for taking the time to speak with me.
A couple mentnioned they are getting several calls about this issue, so hopefully there's a LOT of folks calling.
 
We did the same thing and 3 members told us they were on board with us to oppose this bill. One even asked us why we oppose it that it wouldnt impact what we think. Dont trust them ! Their sneaky. Keep calling ,Faxing and e-mailing.
 
OH YEAH CALL CALL CALL CALL CALL.......... Then call some more. If it is busy keep calling. Busy means we are doing our jobs.

By any chance did you ask him what it would impact? This is part of the problem. No one knows 100% what it will impact. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them really don't know the full scope of it.
 
Does anyone know what the status is for the bill? I work nights and just got up to see how things are going. I sent out tons of letters, emails and calls and just hope that this is over with. Thanks
 
Well we just watched the hearing and from what we heard on all the views across the board it looks good for us and should be no future worries. Seems mainly to concern on plants,fish and aquatic life is the most concerns.
The final voting is in 10days and from the members their and they views i dont see it passing in full. They clearly see this bill is very flawed and needs to be really looked at carefully. One good note our calls,letters and e-mail made a huge impact and has been noticed.
 
Thank you for the update. I truely hope that this bill dies and they allow us to be happy with our scaled friends.
