In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ramen recipes?

Normally I'll just cook some chicken breasts or tenders separately and cut or shred them up and throw it into the soup when the noodles are almost done, along with maybe some broccoli or spinach, and parmesan cheese. OH, and maybe some scrambled egg too.

I throw out the flavor packet, moisten the noodle block, drain them, and use them as a cheap replacement for foam packing peanuts.

I like to add a pat of butter and parm cheese to the chicken ones. For the other ones I add a slice of American cheese and let it melt then stir in. It's the only way I can stomach them. LOL

I like taking leftover Chinese (when there's not enough left for a meal, but enough that I feel badly throwing it out), tossing the powder packet and mixing the noodles with it. Kung pao chicken ramen is verrah tasteh.

Brown one pound of chop meat with one small minced onion. When browned, add two tablespoons of hoisin sauce and the beef packets that have been dissolved in two cup of hot water. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer 5-10 minutes, then remove from heat. Now boil some water and add one or two packets of noodles to the water. Drain and add to beef mixture.

You may optionally add some frozen peas and minced carrots to the beef mixture while its simmering.

Noodles with brown meat sauce, done.

Cook the noodles and drain all the water, except for about a teaspoon. THEN put the seasoning in. Its a nice alternative to the soup.

If you break a couple of eggs in there right away, they will scramble for ya.

When I was a kid, we used to pull the packet out, crunch up the noodles, mix the contents of the packet with the broken up noodles and eat it like that.

Dry?

Lightly toasted dry noodles are yummy on salads! Especially in Asian Slaw recipes.

Heck yeah! That plus a capri sun in our lunchboxes was one of our favorite school lunches. Seems like back then they had more flavors though? :shrug01:

My mum used to make a tuna noodle thingy with it, not sure as to how to classify WHAT she actually made, but I still make it today and the kids seem to like it ok, plus it was a major preggy must have!

Take a couple packages of whatever chicken flavor you like, cook till you like it(I tend to like mine still on the crunchy side and cooked in as little water as possible). Then dump in a drained can of your preferred tuna(all white albacore here) the add a dollop of mayo, a big squirt of mustard, and a big squeeze of ketchup(adjust the condiments to your liking). Mix well and serve hot! As bizarre as it sounds, its really quite yummy :D

Not exactly Gourmet, more like college food Deluxe
Start with your choice of Ramen noodles
The final product won't fit it the bowl.
So, I cooked the Ramen in a pot and served in a big soup bowl.

Ramen
Let simmer in pot, while you get the other stuff going.

Pork Chop
Pan seared, because I didn't want to fire up the the grill for just 2 chops

Boil 2 eggs

Serve Ramen and top with sliced eggs and pork chop

Very quick, easy and filling

I make the noodles and then add any veggies (last nite it was peppers and cabbage) and then add cheese and an egg :D its so yummy :)
