Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I already have our reservations in. So when and where are we all going to get together? The show would be fine with me, or if some of the repeat participants know of a local watering hole??? Either way...count us in :D

Second, Chicago does have the best pizza.

There is also a pizza place right across the street from the convention center in a little strip mall, I had that last year and it was pretty darn good - don't remember the name of the place tho .. but easy to find. Now granted there may be better pizza places in Chicago but for those not wanting to travel far from the convention center ...

Some friends and I are going again this year, was pretty fun last year. The only exception I had was Sat nights auction ... the main auction guy got kinda drunk and was chatting with someone on his cel phone, rambling on / chatting with his friends a little too much IMO.
 
I will be there and vending at that. Stop by the booth and say hello. Im not sure about watering holes, but there is a really nice breakfast/brunch place directly next door thats called the"Egg" or something to that effect that is really nice. As for the auctioneer, hes the show promoter, and thats just his style, im sure you weren't the only one taken back it ...

Me and several friends will be there. I went last year and am really looking forward to it again.
 
I am still considering going to the show... It is a bit of a drive from Arizona (haha) but I have to visit my family in Wisconsin anyway.
