In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Corey Swayer Busted!!!!

WOW this is just too funny, and amazingly childish. Were do I begin.
A few days ago a negative post was placed against me by a customer who hadn't recieved a refund on time, I was gone out of town for a good spell and had other things that were pressing and I had no clue this guy had got mishandled. As soon as I found out this was going on I took care of the guy plus little extra. Then here comes along Corey spouting lies about me to make him look better. After a little mudslinging I decided to just let the dude be, no sense it carring it on any further.
Now this is where it gets funny...
A couple days ago I placed an add selling some rare asian colubrids, around 5:30 am I recieved a email from a guy name Kevin at [email protected] saying he wanted them and will send me out a check that day, I also noticed that at about the sametime Corey places an add of similar animals at about 1/2 the price I had put them up for. Obviously to kill any sell I had goin. We'll check this out I traced the originating IP number and it matches Coreys IP #. Kevin is Corey, the dude is a lying, manipulative little B@>*!.Anyone who would do such a thing can OBVIOUSLY not be trusted, he has NO buisness ethics and will stoop very low to get what he wants.
So everyone, I think it would be fair for us to demand that Corey purchase the animals he promised to purchase as "Kevin" since he intentionally damaged my sells and depriciated my animals as some twisted sort of revenge. We agreed on $1,750.00 and he should have to pay it, why should I come in on the short end, I think this would be fair compensation for his lies and actions. I'll also be willing to ship them to a agreed upon middleman, so he can't claim any BS.
Below are copies of the emails and his IP 12.212.45.132
If anyone questions the authenticity of these emails contact me and I'll forward on the originals so you can compare them yourself.

Let me think on it, I have a couple people interested at 2k but no commitments yet,if I can't sell for 2k I'll go 1,500.00. I'll meet you halfway now if you commit to 1,750 and I'll cover shipping cost. The only reason I am selling these is because my girl totaled my car and I need cash for a downpayment.

Justin,

Maybe it's just me, but this looks like a reach.

1) It's not illegal to have more than one email address.
2) The ads aren't really similar enough to compare.
3) How can you say the prices are 1/2 price, when you only list a sales price for a group, and the only similarity is one snake (the hypo)?

Finally, if I could force every person that has said they were sending me payment for a snake to make good on that, I'd be doing GREAT! An animal isn't sold until you've received payment. Heck, since all this transpired only yesterday, you can't even be certain that the check isn't in the mail.

Maybe I'm missing something, and if I am, please tell me. I haven't had my coffee yet.

1). No your right, it isn't illeagal to have more than one email addy, but he did falsly represent himself, he's not Kevin but Corey, now ask yourself why would he do this???What was his motive for hiding his true identity???
Obviously we have been feuding, so logic says he wouldn't want to buy from me. So why would he inquire, then committ saying he's sending payment.

2 and 3). The adds are more similar than you think, the ghost is actually a anerythristic, I have two identical to his ghost, anyone with commonsense would see this right away, there's way too much black and the odds of a WC animal being both anerythristic and hypomelanistic is astronomical. The value of the animals listed on my add were for an average of 400ea, the hypo and the anery on his add were for 80-100$ea. That depriciates 3 out 5 animals by 3/4 and the entire group by almost 50%.Yes he can price his animals whatever he chooses but it is very ironic, that this add was placed within close proximity of my add and that I would recieve false emails from him within a VERY short time of him placing the adds.

Why would anyone behave in a deceptive manner like this? The Answer: They had something to hide that is detrimental to themselves if discovered.
Justin Mitcham

OK, I had let the name thing slip by, you do have a point. It's also possible that someone else from Sawyer Zoological used the computer to make an inquiry. Are you certain that Corey doesn't have an employee?

I guess I should also concede my lack of common sense....but I DID put in my "no coffee yet" disclaimer, so cut me some slack. I'm not familiar with the going retail pricing for those types of snakes.

However.....

Why would Corey take a huge loss on his animals just to undercut you? Are you indicating he doesn't really have them? He won't really sell them? If he was attempting to just take yours off the market, wouldn't he have emailed you with an offer for the full asking price and been done with it?

I'm going to get my second cup of coffee now and think about it some more.

Sorry about the common sense thing I didn't mean it offensivly, my appologies. As an importer we get in animals exceedingly cheap, we take the good with the bad and usually there's a whole lot more bad than good. His prices were close to cost for the 3 animals.Yes retail price is much more and is justified so because for everyone of these that live 1 or 2 may die so our actual cost can be a lot higher, it really depends on well the animals were kept prior to shipping. But there is room to come down if a person so wished.
As for an employee doing this I seriously doubt it, I like to see proof that he has an employee, why is he still working at 3 and 4am, Corey is two hours behind me so this all took place in the wee hours of the morning. And if the employee was buying this why list animals he wanted on the net and then buy mine for more. I think the simplist answer is the correct one in this case.
Regards,
Justin Mitcham

Well, since I can't read all that gobbledey internet techno gunk you posted, I'll have to take your word for it on the IP address thing. Now, I don't know how Corey's web service is set up, but don't some web companies have changing IPs so that it is possible for two people to end up with the same IP at different times? I think AOL has this kind of set up, but I'm not totally sure.

Now, I looked at the ads, and I don't see anything really all that similar other than you guys are selling the same species and the same/similar morphs. Take this good, bad, or whatever, but nowhere in Corey's ad is he claiming he's had the animals a year or that he's wormed them or that they are feeding on frozen/thawed(his ad says live feeders). Looks to me like he's selling relatively fresh imports, which, as we all know, are usually not valued as high as better established or CB animals, right? Plus, Justin, your ad is selling a breeding group versus Corey's selling individual animals.

Let's compare the ads...

Corey's Dinodon ad

Justin's Dinodon ad

I just don't see anything all that similar, personally.

Now, the pricing in my opinion is a complete non-issue. If Corey wants to sell them for $5/ea, that is his business. Sure, it would suck for you selling a breeding group for $2000, but hey, unfortunately, that's the breaks in business. This just means you have to justify why yours are worth so much more, but if they are as high quality as your ad states, then justifying the extra cost for your animals shouldn't be difficult, I would think.

Plus, I don't think Corey is that stupid or that spiteful to sell his animals for basically nothing over cost JUST to be a tool.

Now, on the holding the animals thing, I think you're stretching BIGTIME. If I could make every person I've had back out on me actually go through with paying me I'd be a VERY rich man by now. And if you've been around the business as long as everyone says, then YOU would be a rich man, too. Whether it was Corey or not I can't say, but come ON! It doesn't matter if it's Jimmy JohnJohn or Bob Clark that offered to buy your animals and then backed out(do you even know for SURE this Kevin backed out?), you can't MAKE them buy the animals. And besides, how much time were you actually out "holding" these for Kevin/Corey/whoever it was? Half a day? A whole day? In other words, what I am saying is that you weren't inconvenienced all THAT much no matter who contacted you.

Personally, I think this whole Corey vs Justin thing is getting childish already. And it's only been what, a few days?!?!?!

Justin,

I see why you're ticked off, and I understand your reasons for your perceptions. I also understand that perception is 9/10 of reality. However, I have a tough time seeing a huge similarity between those two ads. Yes, they are similar, but I think the fact that you are selling a breeding group versus his WC individuals could account for the pricing difference.

As to the IP thing, I see where it says that they're the same on both emails. However, as has been stated, like AOL, Hotmail accounts share the same IP address for thousands of users at a time. Therefore, it is impossible to identify just who it is that is sending you email from a hotmail account. It was good detective work, but it falls short of proof in this case.

Even so, you're hacked at Corey, and he's hacked at you. You probably need to stop and reassess everything you see which causes you to believe he's messing with you for the near future, because you already know you're hyper-sensitive to his actions. Everything seems like a dig whether or not it actually is, and that is going to be true for a while.

Just some food for thought . . .

Isn't it possible that Corey is receiving imports from the same place you are? Also, when something in particular becomes available I'm sure it often arrives through more than just a single source so he could have available now pretty much what you have available just because that's the way the business works.

First off justin I have been selling them for months at around those prices. I have sold a few. I did not under cut your prices, seems like you didnt look at the market that is out there for them. And yes it is a ghost, because I also have true anery. Dinodon are quite easy to start, I have lost one. I figure the value of your group its mostly the leucistic, which I do not have available I would ask a lot for it if i did. Mine have not been dewormed (fecal tests showed no reason to do so) and I have not had them long. I had an add for the sameanimals, priced the exact same as I have them price now, posted about a week before you posted them (but I posted them on teh venomous classifieds, being they are rear fanged). As far as being close to cost? LOL market cost for dinodon morphs is VERY VERY LOW. If your paying a lot, let me know I will glady sell them all to you for less.

Yes justin that me was who ordered from you, no problem admiting this.

Your phone number can not be reversed looked up for some reason (unlisted? wouldnt show up on www.theultimates.com, try it), and I need your address for refrence (check your mail box for a letter in about a week). This was the only legal way I could get your address, I didnt feel like bothering your cusomters for it , and your boss could not legally give it out (so i didint ask).

and yes my ip address is dynamic.

Mystery Solved!

Looks like this one is handled, but I have a sneaking suspicion there will be another thread shortly.....

John,

My partner is in china, I receive about a shipment per week. During busy weeksI get two, during slow times I get only a couple a month. I price my animals based on what I paid, how bad I want the animals (I have a lot of them, dont need any!) and how the market is (they are a hard sale). At $80, there is quite a market up on them, just say more than a retail store marks up a product. At $100 there is a REALLY good markup.

the whole thing is completely REDICULOUS,you 2 kids need to stop, gimme a break everyone knows about "potential sales" on the web!HA nonexistant,,,,,bottom line is the snake or snakes are not sold until the money is in sellers hand and customer is happy w/said deal, period,,,,,,you 2kids have gone away to loolooland,,,,,,,1says "well it was him that ordered it so he now has to pay for it"hahahaha,,,and the other admits to fraudulently in fact admitting it was him portraying someone else in a fake sell ,,,,geez get a grip both of ya,,,this is not what the "boi" is about,,,,peace ,,,,thomas davis T&S reptile farm;)

CRAZY THREAD

This is one crazy thread, it really doesn't tell us anything much. The ads are not the same, similar, but similar is not the same. Justin, don't hold your breath on getting that money now!

Ms_Terese YOU made a HUGE ERROR.......... Please never post a thread or even dare to turn on your pc untill MUCH coffee has been consumed!.......... I should know and I screwed up bad and almost burnt the house to the ground....

THANK

I don't really want to perpetuate this thread and maybe I am simply being a bit dense but I still do not really understand Corey's reason for dummying up a sale under a false identity. Am I the only one who is unclear on this? It seems that there must have been an easier and less duplicitous way of coming up with Justin's address and phone number.

Now I could change it to match what ever I wanted on here, to any number. Can you send me the oringal so I can see that the IP is what you are telling us?

John,

I needed his address. I had no other way of getting it, his number is blocked from doing reverse look ups (try at www.anywho.com). If you can think of an easier way to get addresses, please share. No one i asked had it. It is illegal for his boss to give it out without permission, so I didnt ask.
