    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This morning before leaving for work, the first of 4 expected Western Hognose clutches was laid.
It is a clutch of 8 apparently good eggs from my youngest (and smallest [about 300g]) adult female, sired by albino male.
I'll try to post some pictures later (when I get home from work) if I remember.

I'm totally excited, as this is my first hognose clutch EVER (just started keeping them a few years ago)...

Congrats!! I've got a baby albino that I would love to breed to a few girls someday.

Hope you have a great hatch rate and contact me if you plan to sell any females.

Just an update on this clutch... 2 of the 8 eggs ended up dying unfortunately... one was simply infertile and collapsed within a few days... the other was fertile, but ended up going brown and dying off a few weeks later.

Of the 6 that are still good, all 6 have tiny little hognose heads peeking out!!! BABY HOGNOSES!!!

Looks like Clutch 1 was fairly successful...

Since then I've gotten 3 more clutches which are currently incubating... 29 eggs total...
8 from this clutch, 14 from the second which was 100% Het Albino x Albino, 6 from another normal x Albino, and 1 from my Red female x Albino male (and that one may not be good... it was along with 11 slugs... :( )

i'm trying to find a 100% het albino female close to breeding size myself, i can get babies now, but looking for sub adult or adult as my male is breedable, any ideas on where to get one? dont really wanna wait and grow out 2 years on a baby, by then no one will want them cause the extremes will dominate :(
