    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Guys please help out here!

Let's face it, most people probably don't even know about the python ban or if they do it doesn't seem like anything big. Let's fix that.

My bf and I have been trying to come up with ways to get more people involved with fighting the snake ban, especially non-herp peeps.
One idea was to create flyers that tell a bit about it and gives links to more info and to donate and sign to oppose it and distribute them everywhere here (AZ) that will give them out to customers. We've already talked to several local businesses that are willing.

I would like any suggestions you may have on good links I can give for more info that will send the message we want without being too wordy or long for a casual reader? I've asked on a couple of forums but no one is even responding.

Also I thought maybe if we could work out an idea for the flyers put them up to print out on different sites or something and asked people to, maybe people in other states and other parts of AZ would distribute them too?

I don't understand why pythons are being ban, but it does not make sense. I would say to start a petition & ask people to vote!
 
I have been posting on Craigslist daily! Come on people!... if everybody does at least one post we can make so many more people aware of this situation!
 
I have signed it and I have went on my local rant and raves section of Kalamazoo MI ranting about the python ban. I just hope I didn't say anything that was wrong lol.
 
God, I hate how everyone thinks they are a reptile expert!! I put my two cents in but I wasn't nice about it. I can't read everyone's comment and listen to them trash snakes like they know everything about them. Some people said "good, I am glad they are banning them" or "snakes are nasty and you guys are just exploiting them for their money, blah blah blah"...

I did log in to post, but wasn't logged in when I first read the comments. I just checked the site and it took a little for the comments to appear. They are on the right, just scroll down a little. I guess the site just loads slow, lol.
 
I've been signing every petition available. Everyone needs to get involved and get your friends and family too! Also I wanted to thank Rich for sending out an email to all fauna users re: the ban!
 
Man guys... I've been posting over and over all day. I've posted in Craigslist's Community / pets section, and the rants and raves section... somebody keeps on flagging my posts. They read as follows:

Every signature helps!... if you know about Pythons then you know they are not the monsters that the media makes them, and every other pet now a days out to be. Please register and sign to oppose this ban. Before you know it, more and more animals will be added to this ban. If this keeps up, soon it will be your turtle, sugar glider, hedgehog, pit bulls and other breeds, even cats. ITS FREE!... PLEASE HELP!
 
there be some snake haters on CL,waste of time doing battle on those lines
Folks round here cant even give away "free"ball's with getting slammed
 
If the president helped out with our problem and overturned this whole thing, would the reptile community as a whole vote for him?? If so, why don't we show the president what kind of votes he could get at the upcoming elections. I am sure that would spark his interest.
