    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi, My daughter is no longer interested in snakes and would like to sell her rubber boa (think it is female) to fund her 4-H project. She is asking $60 or $100 with tank. The tank is a 30 gallon I believe and has the screen cover. The snake is an olive green beautiful snake and is about 2.5 feet long.

Rubber Boa

Hi, Thank you for the suggestion. I am still looking into the laws for Rubber Boas in Washington and Oregon. We did have another one but gave it to my nephew before he moved to Montana. His baby sister let it out and lost it.
We're really hoping to find this one another home with knowledgable people.

Rubber Boas are legal in washington if they are of non native stock, IE from oregon, northern cali or idaho.. So if it is of Oregon stock you could sell it to someone up in Washington.. I'd buy it, but we're leaving for AZ this weekend for 2 weeks and every penny counts. lol.

Oregon Laws

According to the 2nd edition of “A Field Guide to Reptiles and the Law” it is unlawful in Oregon to sell native reptiles and amphibians even if the specimen was obtained in another state. I spent a good amount of time on the internet but didn’t find any definitive information from web sites of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife or the Oregon Department of Agriculture. Both agencies apparently have laws regarding the commercial exchange of reptiles. I did however get the distinct impression from the Fish and Wildlife site that it was indeed unlawful. I suggest you make a phone call to the Department of Fish and Wildlife and speak directly with a field agent.

Do you have any of these rubber boas left? If you do, what is the price and will you over night ship them? And what would be the cost of shipping?
