    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok, so I was holding my gecko yesterday night and
for the first time she climbed on my shoulder and my chest.
She layed there for a bit and then found a hiding spot
on my comforter..I was in a state of nirvana after that.
Honestly, I'm in love my girl and I just want another one.

So, when I put her back into her tank.. I got to thinking
to hell with this.. I'm getting another one. I contacted
all the breeders that I thought have good prices vs quality,
but now I can't decide what I want anymore!!!

Do I go for an tremper albino? Marcia from GGG's is only
fourty five minutes from me... Alberto, Kelli, Robert Lee,
have some of the best SHTCTB that I've seen on the Net.

Basically I'm caught up on, go for SHTCTB that's more orangy
than Mercedes? or should I go for something different?

Sigh.. If someone told me that owning a Leo was this
addicting I woulda quit before I started..

What do you guys do? Buy every color of the rainbow? :) :)

Well Winston... you have been bitten by the leopard gecko 'bug', so it really doesn't matter what you get next because you will wind up having all of the different morphs anyway! LOL!

Everyone is addicted, I started with 2 and now I have 9. Everytime I look at their smiles, I'll grab my measuring tape to see where else in my house can fit in another tank. I've already demolished my masterbed ensuite (including the walls to the corridor) to make that a nice gecko area, but I think I'll run out of space soon...

Yup, you’ve been bit by the bug and there’s not cure in sight. I started with 1 then got 2 and now I have about 90. Half of my room is gone and I still am trying to find space to add something else. The madness never ends…………….. :nuts:
 
I used to have a cellar, now the geckos have taken it over! :confused:

I know what you mean!! The ONLY way to describe it is "addicting"!! Just look around and you will probably fall in love with one. I'm thinking about getting a Blizzard because they look different than the usual tang or hi yellow. GOOD LUCK!!

you'll have leo fever for life my friend, soon you'll find yourself collecting anything that can be used as a water,food dish or hide, thats when you know you really have it

i have an entire box of haagen daaz ice cream lids and i i didnt eat a single drop of ice cream

i started out with 5 back in 98', stopped collecting them until '03. started out with one, ended up with 23, unfortunatly a few passed away and i now have 18 and counting

Fat tails geckos are next!!

just wait it gets worse i started with 2 then it became 4 and then it became 9 then 17 and now i have 30 all in a matter of 6 monthes and about 3500 dollars later i personally have a thing for the Carrot head carrot tail jungle giant albinos unfortunatly they go for 400 dollars or more each now i have a 2.7 giant group it is simply mad i tell you you need to find a good dealer and hold on for the ride i dont know when i will end next for me is giant albino stripes then knobtails and fait tails it seems there is no end in site good luck if you want a cure you better start looking now but as far as i can tell there is none and i love every minute of it

What I have noticed about myself is that in the 2 months I have had Leos.....I can't go anywhere without seeing something and saying to myself "Hey that could make a great hide, water dish, climbing object, moist hide, calcium dish, feeder dish, mealworm/cricket keeper, etc." Lol.

Crack with tails!

This is so funny, everyone who posts on here is the same. We have 25 and expect to purchase more at the next two local shows. My friends and family joke that I will be found dead with my leopard geckos feeding on my corpse in the middle of the living room like that guy a few years ago with the monitors. I stop at every pet shop I see no matter where I am. LOL we were at a funeral in Ohio, and I looked in two pet shops just to see what they had.

Exactly, lol. I always bring a tape measure with me; everytime I go to a department store, I'll go to the "kitchen stuff" section, then start measuring their plastic containers, to see which one is great for mealworm dish, cricket dish, humid hide...etc. You can imagine how weird I look when I take out my measuring tape in a department store, and everyone that walk pass me will have 10 question marks on their heads.

american science and surplus great place ! best and cheapest gecko supplies you can find lol ...definately the place for geeks ............... and now for gecko-geeks too ......... got more stuff 4 the four leos i have now and one amel-fat-tail ,and then for the 7 that are on their way(tuesday) , then 4 more(about two weeks ) ,o wait then half a dozen more het amel fat-tails (a month from now) lol ! and this is only my sixth month having had geckos again .........had alot,before ... started when i was 19 , every herp under the sun ,just about snakes, geckos(1 leo ,2 fatties , some i dont even remember lol ), ,tarantulas,scorpions , dragons ,chameleons (five types) at least 10 baby lizards were given to me ...never even knew what type some of them were ........ i bred my fat-tails by accident ....was awesome ...started breeding my chameleons , i loved it and know exactly why im back in this again .... it just got so out of hand ...could barely feed everyone ..and i was young didnt know any better ... and the imports got some captives sick and had to give them all up !! just terrible .... dont let it happen to you !!!!! dont get too out of hand (there is such a thing) at least now i know better ..and know what i like ..and will stick to leos, fatties, and maybe cresteds ..and i am breeding again :) .... but only my six month back in this and i very soon will have 22 leos and fatties at well over 3 thousand .......addiction allright
