In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi everyone,
Alex has been kind enough to preview some of his Mack Co-Dom Super Snow’s so I thought the least I could do was post some pictures of what their eyes look like.

Here is a picture of a Las Vegas Albino’s eye just for a reference.

Here is a picture of one of the Super Snow's Co-Dom forms eye. This is the non-super form and the eye looks like a normal Leopard Geckos eye.

Here is the picture of one of the Super Snow's. The eye is pure black and under the right kind of lighting you can see the vertical slit of the pupil, but it is impossible to photograph.

Here is another picture of the Super Snow’s eye.

I know everyone wants to know more about this exciting new morph so here are a three more pictures of one of my Females.

These are very exciting times for the keepers of Leopard Geckos and I can only imagine what new and extraordinary new morphs will be created now that the Super Snow is on the scene.

I am telling you, this is just “Too Cool”.

I hope you enjoy,
Albey

Awesome!!...Incredible geckos! ...but...is it just me or does that super snow's nostrils look odd in the close-ups?... Those eyes are really cool though!

Hi Albey, thanks for posting the pics. We wish you would post more often!! Those are some neat geckos, that's for sure. The solid black eye is verrrrry interesting, to say the least. Wonder what that would look like on a red eyed albino? Hmmmm;) ;) ;) ;)

Hi Christina,
I am not sure what you are talking about in the close ups, but a Nikon D70 sure does tell it like it is. LOL

Albey

these super snows are awesome..i love their eyes

Albey, i had a question about your incubation method, does it comply to all sized containers?, i've never used this method befor so i want to be sure

thanks

Seeing is believing, that is for sure. When we first seen the pictures posted on here we thought they were really neat looking, but then when we seen them yesterday in person....oh my were they awesome. The eyes were so cool. I'm not sure how many people were buying them, but a couple of people were talking about buying them for breeding projects. We'll see huh.

Albey,

What lens did you use on your D70 for the macros? I just picked one up, but only have the kit lens for now. It's not a bad lens either,......

....I just can't get macros now unless I switch back to my CP 4500.

Chris

I find it interesting how all the SS (Super Snow) we've seen seem to have a distinct stripe to them. Pretty cool, Albey!

...and a Super Snow is different from a regular snow because it is a co-dom trait...?

Michael

Out of the woodwork!!!

Holy cow I couldn't believe when I saw a post in here by Albey! Very cool. Now hopefully you'll show off some more eye candy for us! Those supers are extremely nice and I can only imagine what the future holds! This just added a whole new dimension to leopard geckos again! Seems just when you think almost everything has been done. BAAAAAAMMMMMMM!!!! I can't wait to get mine!

Nice to see you posting Albey. Hopefully you can stick around here now. ;)

Those super snows eyes are totally amazing. With something new like this it opens the doors for so many more new things. And knowing you you’re going to create it. *wink wink* I don’t know if you know Albey but how were the first super snows created?

Hi Kelley,
It is funny you should say that about the Albino’s eyes. I had gotten rid of all of my Albino’s, (both Las Vegas and Tremper) Paternless, and Blizzard’s. It was funny having to buy all of those morphs over again for this new project. Vendors kept saying to me – You are buying Leopard Geckos? LOL

Hi Dan,
It does not matter what size container you use. What is important is the Perlite to water ratio. You want it to be 1 part Perlite to .8 parts water.

Hi Chris,
I bought the Nikon 60 F2.8 D Micro and the 105 F2.8 D Micro. I use the 60 for my reptile pictures and the 105 for Spiders and bug pictures. You have to get too far away with the 105 and I had to stand on a chair or shoot from across the room. LOL

I got mine used at KEH Camera here in Atlanta. There stuff is great and excellent means practically brand new. Here is the link-

Hi Michael,
All of the Super form has some type of stripping.

The Super Snow is the first true Co-Dom Leopard Gecko in that it has a visible Het. It is the same as The Pastel Jungle in Ball Pythons.

Hi Chad,
Here you go with a couple more pictures. These are of my Male Super Snow. He has a slightly different type of stripping. He is going to be a very busy boy in a month or so. I sure hope he is up to the task. LOL

Hi Cody,
John Mack told me that the Super Snow just hatched out in his colony of Snow’s.

I hope you enjoy.

so if im using a small zip lock container, the numbers (156.6 or somthing like that) would all still be the same?

im thinking no because its less perlite...and probaby less water

you can email me at [email protected] to answer if you dont feel like answering here

Thanks

Super Snows

Albey, it's GREAT to see you posting, and not only are your photos awesome, but so are the geckos! Like I said in the thread Alex Hue posted, I had the priviledge of actually seeing and handling one of Mack's Super Snows at the NARBC Show in Anaheim a few months back, and believe me, it is not something you forget. What a truly incredible gecko... it had a 'regal' look to it. I was in awe.

The eyes look just like fat tails eyes...which I love! Those are great leos. I've never bought a real high quality leo, but I WILL buy one of those snows. Those are just my favorite...

LOL

Well that is so cool! I am happy you are going all the way with this project. And happy you bought some new geckos for your project too. I mean, ball pythons are great and all (I have a few myself) but leopard geckos are still the best! I definitely want to get a group of these next year, they are cool. I must admit when you showed them to me in Daytona I wasn't all that impressed but it looks like I was wrong! Maybe these are the true anerythristic leo?

Hey albey! Can't wait to talk with you in atlanta.

Hehe.. Jason told me about you buying a rainwater, and some other big girls from him. I cant wait to see what you produce!

so Albey...

Rainwater albino X super snow = snow (co-dom) 100% het albino....

so will an albino super snow be called a Winter Noreaster? Seeing as how Blizzard is taken?

That is pending the traits can be combined successfully (i.e., not being a deleterious or fatal combination).

Chris

hmmmm winter in fall !

:) love the stripe ! how in the h&%$ are all of those spots arranged so perfectly ? WOW
