    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I ran a search on here about them and it was quite dated. Anyone deal with them recently? I have an order on hold with them at the moment pending what I see here at the BOI.
 
I've been buying supplies from them for a couple of years and they have always been great. I don't buy from anyone else if Reptile Direct has what I need. Most frequently I get mercury vapor bulbs, screen tops, turtle basking platforms, dome fixtures, lamp stands, RepCal pellets, UTHs, and other miscellaneous things. They have always shipped promptly and I've never had a problem with an order.
 
I've ordered plenty of times from Reptile Direct in the last couple of years. They've got some competitive prices and a great selection, but the time between when you place the order and the time they actually ship is a couple days slower than some other places.

Went ahead and placed the order. Instant notification and charge to my card. I was glad to see that. I hate when days pass before it shows up on the card.........
 
You should have a good experience. I have ordered supplies from them several times. I am in Central NY, so items shipped UPS ground get here next day, and they usually ship within a business day or two of the order being processed. I see that you are in PA, so you should get your package pretty quickly.
 
Got my order today. Very quick shipping. I certainly do not regret ordering from them.
 
I had another great transaction with this company. Placed a good sized order for bulbs and all of them showed up with no problems at all. Packaging was great!!!
 
Last Experience was Lousy

We have ordered from them in the past and were impressed with both the prices and customer service. However, we ordered bulbs and CGD two months ago. While the bulbs arrived promptly, the CGD was not shipped with them. It took a week for ReptileDirect to respond to our email inquiry as to the status of the rest of our order. Jim at ReptileDirect responded that it was out of stock and would ship within two weeks. It took us six weeks to actually receive it. Interim emails were no or slow response on their part. While this wasn't a million dollar order, we were disappointed at the marked drop in customer service.

Just our experience,but we have taken our business elsewhere.
 
I have ordered from ReptileDirect for over 2 years. It seems to me that they acctually take the order from customers and then order what customers ordered from wholesalers. Thats probebly the reason dragonsdesyre face some problem with his/her purchases. However, I am very satisfied with their services and the competitive prices.
