UPS Delay and Shipping Cost Refunds

According to what I read on the UPS website, packages are guarenteed to arrive by the time stated on your receipt. I shipped a box of frogs to Louisiana, but they were delayed due to adverse weather conditions. I know that they will not refund the value of the animals (I think they are fine anyways). But will they refund the cost of shipping as stated in their TOS? This is the first time I have ever had a package delayed. I was unsure since it wasn't due to carrier error but weather.

I believe that in the small print somewhere it says that it is guaranteed by 10 but they have till the end of the business day to deliver.I think it depends on if it was express or air saver.

I would have to double check, but I also think there is a blurb about weather conditions

I am not too worried about. My customer went to the UPS hub and picked up his frogs last night and they are ok. So far I am still pretty pleased with UPS, I think their website and trackign is really well-done and they are about $5.00 cheaper then Fed Ex on average.

UPS will not refund shipping charges for delays caused by adverse weather conditions.
