    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm hoping that I'm doing this right.

I just purchased a number of chelonian supplies from Joe Heinen at Carolina Pet Supply. I promptly received my order (even with all the Holiday slow-downs). The supplements were perfect, well packaged, etc.

But Joe is the best. He promptly and kindly answers all my e-mails. He spends a lot of time on different forums answering chelonian related questions. (Which is where I ran into him).

Not sure what else to say (still a little tired from Christmas hubbub). But my experience with Joe and Carolina Pet Supply was definitely a plus!!! I would recommend him to anyone looking for nutritional/natural supplements and feed for their tortoises (especially those species like Sulcatas that do not hibernate in the winter).

I'll second that...

Joe is not only helpful in terms of chelonian husbandry, especially nutrition, but he is also a great businessman. I highly recommend Carolina Pet Supply -- great prices, excellent service, and outstanding nutritional supplements. If you need something and you don't see it on his site, ask and he'll let you know when he can get it and the price.
