In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Breakin' in the new racks with a little G3 style!

I just got these two pretties from Marcia @ Golden Gate Geckos today, and they got the honor of being the first inhabitants of my new AP racks.

Here's a wider shot of the sweater box racks:

Here's the lovely geckos themselves:

"Hoppy" (female SHTCTB) - Marcia warned me that this one jumps... and she DOES! :hehe:

Paul, the racks look great. The geckos look even better!! I especially like that patty. Marcia has the BEST patties!!

Awesome Paul!!! Wish I was your gecko. :)

WOW-nice rack system and way beautiful geckos!!

Thanks everyone, but Marcia deserves the credit--she produced them! lol

Beautiful additions, Paul. That patty is something else, I've never seen carrot like that on one before.

No foolin'. I'm hoping to use him in a variety of projects, but mainly to improve the color and CT on the LVPA's. One of my female LVPA's has exceptionally nice color and CT so we'll see. :D

WOW, Paul! What a great set-up! I'm glad the geckos will be the first to move in to the new condo complex and be in such good hands. It makes me wish I would have got the white A/P racks... mine are all black and get very dusty-looking from calcium powder. Yours will disguise it a lot better.

Thanks for posting the pics of Lucky and Hoppy!

I KNOW. My original racks were black and that was my #1 complaint. Out of consistency, I had ordered the AP racks in black too, but changed my mind. I am SO glad that I did. I think they're easier to see into as well--requiring less ambient light in the area. Oh yeah, originally I had ordered them with heat cable too, but then changed my mind on that as well. lol The cut-outs for the flex-watt are AWESOME.

Hey I use the same dishes but I use those for water and ash trays for mealies.

I wanted an opaque ramekin that wasn't huge, expensive, tippy, or that allowed worms to climb the sides. I ordered them online from Instawares (here) and am very happy with them. Including shipping, I got 8 doz. of them for <$0.85 each. Their bottoms are a little rough, which I like because it keeps them from slipping around on the bottom of the tubs. --much better than the glass petri dishes I had been using.

You lucky Dog! I had been eyeing that Patty for a long time, he is gorgeous!

And, those racks are awesome! Sure beets my super heavy melamine racks :slamit:

Glad to see them up, Ive heard the drill running a few times when I talked to you and those from Marcia are just as awesome as you said they are! Congrats!

And let me know how those dishes work, they look really nice!

They are both gorgeous, but that is no surprise since they came from Marcia! Nice racks too!

Great set up Paul! I agree with the white racks being a little better for visibility. Thanks for the link on the feeding dishes also. I've been looking for a good source. I was eyeing that male for a while also...and that female has some great body color!
