In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

what do girls look for most in a guy

I really like that it is so easy to convince y'all that y'all are the mowers of yards, takers out of trash, makers of money, and fixers of cars. :raspberry

We put up enough of a fight to make you THINK we don't want to take out trash, now yards, etc. I imagine if I were married with children, I'd be looking for ANY excuse to get out! Wrenching on the ride or changing diapers..going to work or dealing with screaming kids...tough choice. :bolt01:

That kinda depends on the guy. There's at least something to like about most of y'all, but it's sometimes different from guy to guy. I like that men are often much more straight forward than women. I hate it when women are nice to your face and mean behind your back or when they want you to guess what the problem is. I try not to be like that, and I have way more male friends than female ones because I don't like dealing with it. Guys say, "such and such pisses me off." That's way more helpful.

I also like guys with integrity who live their lives according to some kind of belief system or moral code, although I don't require that it's necessarily like mine. And I like guys who will disagree with me. I hate whipped guys who just go along with whatever a girl says. Do it politely and respectfully, but if you disagree just disagree.

So based on the tow post from females so far, looks do not play a part.

I appreciate good looks. But other things are way more important. Integrity. Honesty. Taking out the trash. :raspberry

I do think that basic hygiene can be important and affect 'looks'. Getting dirty from working on the car is one thing, but picking up dirty sweaty clothes off the floor and just wearing it again is another (I caught my teen doing this one time).

The problem with that theory is that guys are not always the best judge of what smells funny. :ack2:

I agree with Lucille. We notice looks, and you do have to have some degree of attraction to a person, but as long as the guy is neat and clean and not actually embarrassing in public, it doesn't play a huge role. I've dated guys who were pudgy(which is my preference), guys who were really skinny, short ones, tall ones, bald ones, hairy ones, older guys (again my preference), guys my age. And really I consider them all to be my type. It's just that my type has a lot more to do with a list of character traits than a list of physical traits.

'The problem with that theory is that guys are not always the best judge of what smells funny." that's why I never leave home without a spritz of AXE. I'm not really a cologne kinda guy..but I have like 5 different kinds of Axe. Smelly guys should make friends with it.

I don't care what someone looks like. We're all ugly by the time we're 50. I care about personality. Which is probably why I'm still looking. I love goofy, funny guys. I'd take someone that has a kind heart over someone who looks like Brad Pitt any day.

I've had guy friends who lay their dirty clothes out so that they can air out. After about a day or two, the clothes are concidered clean again, because they're not smelly. Men amaze me.

When I lived in the dorm at college you could see the windows of the boys dorm from ours (making it very important to keep the blinds shut) and you could always see where they had fastened their nasty dirty clothes in the window to let the breeze blow them around. After a day of that they were considered clean again, so nasty!

Its not that we are slobs

It's just that we are so busy with other things we can't afford to worry abour our clothes.

There is always some big sports game going on, our friends want us to do stuff.

Car shows, bars, cook outs, fishing, hunting whatever. When do you expect us to do laundry :)

omg...dont make me hurt you :uzi: cuz i suppose us women sit around and watch tv all day right?...but we still find time to dip a shirt into water, add some detergent..wait..and let it dry...wow... :raspberry

Guys, if you want the girls then take care of yourselves! I shower once in the morning and once before bed. I change my clothes twice a day at least. It's not that I have to but I want to. Too many people get comfortable once they have the girl and they forget basic hygiene issues. It only takes a few seconds to ensure your GQ instead of PU.

thats not the only problem...the real problem is when they get comfortable before they get the girl

Lets see what I can step in here... Guys if ya want to get a woman's attention then listen to them!!! Not just nod every once in a while, listen to what they have to say and talk to them not about you.

Funny thing about the hygiene comments. If ya can't stand the smell of yourself then you can be sure they don't want to be around you. Yet more than once I've heard comments IE some like the smell of good clean sweat. So who really knows. Randy

No, no, no, the sweat thing has very limited appeal. The sweat thing is only good right after you come in from doing whatever physical activity it is that made you sweat. It's not good if you smell sweaty constantly because you don't shower or wash your clothes often enough.

Oh is that what "good clean sweat" means? In that case you're right. Some guys just tend to take that theory a little too far.
