In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Denise Latanzi twice for business transactions. She purchased two bearded dragons from me on separate occasions late 2005. She purchased the first one and UPS was late so I offered her a shipping refund, which she refused. I then offered a credit towards shipping down the road if she ever wanted to purchase another dragon. She did a month or so later. I am bringing this "Good Gal" post to light now because there has been way too much mis-infomartion in another thread about Denise and I felt that because I have done business with her, I could lend insight to that aspect. She paid promptly, was great with communication and has emailed periodically to let me know how they are doing.

On a more personal note, Denise has demonstrated her honesty and integrity time and time again. She has kept a level head when most people would have lost all cool. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone looking for an honest ethical bearded dragon breeder, to contact Denise Latanzi.

Thank you Wendy

I haven't had the pleasure of getting one of her beardies, yet but I have been able to talk to her on the phone and she seems to be a very nice person who is extremely passionate about bearded dragons. She was also very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I had for her. :)

Really great

I have had dealings with Denise and her husband several times and they were more than professional every time.
I was originally referred to Denise when I was looking for someone to give me advice about how to deal with some snakes, venomous snakes, that I inherited when my brother died. I had no clue what to do with them. She and her husband were not only helpful, they came out to his house and identified the snakes, found someone to take one of them, and took the others for release back into their habitat.
Last year, we purchased a bearded dragon from her. A few months later, she notified us that there was an illness going through the bearded dragon population and gave us a list of contacts if we wanted to test our girl.
A few months ago, my husband and I decided to come back to California, but we were unsure how to move with the bearded dragon, and we could not give her up. Once again, we called Denise and she made arrangements for us to ship our girl to her and she took care of her until we got moved.
A few weeks ago we purchased another bearded dragon from her.
When we first got Daisy, our bearded from her, she told us about this website and we have visited often as we were learning about our little girl. We saw the posts about her on the virus information, but we didn't say anything because we didn't know anything about it. All we knew was that the things people were saying about her didn't look like they were talking about the person we knew. Now that we know more, we can step in and say something.
Way back around the first of the year Denise told us that she would pay to have Daisy tested for this virus and we did not take her up on it. Once we moved, she asked us again to test her, and we decided to do it. Daisys test results came back Friday and she does not look like she has it, but we know we have to test her a few more times.
This post got really long fast, so to say what I came her to say, Denise is a really nice person with a great heart and good ethics. She has always been incredibly helpful and has answered at least 101 dumb questions with patience and good cheer. She has helped us repeatedly, and except for the dragon we bought from her, she has never charged us anything for any of the other services she has offered, and I know the vet bill for having our Daisy tested actually cost her more than we paid for the beardie unless she gets some very special rates. She didn't even charge us for crickets when she was beardie sitting.
I owe her a lot for what shes done for us, but she didn't know me at all when she did it. In my book, that makes her pretty special.

You are absolutely right, Sandee. Not only is Denise an incredible woman who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it, she has amazing ethics and integrity.

I have had several business dealings with Denise, and she has followed through each time. I'd also like to throw in here that the beardies that Denise bought from us are fatter and happier than when we had them. She takes fantastic care of her animals. I'd be happy to work with her again, if we were still "in the business."

To sum it up, Denise is top notch on all levels.
