**ALL ARE SOLD**
I have a few alpine newts left.
Single males, hatched in 2021. $70.00 each. Ready to breed. Sorry, females are gone.
I also have unsexed juveniles from 2022- two for $80, four for $150. ****JUVENILES ARE SOLD****
These are easy to keep, undemanding little newts, as long as a proper environment is provided. They are active and fun to watch. They do best in clean, filtered and cycled water, with lots of aquatic vegetation. I use air powered sponge filters. They climb glass, so a secure lid is a must. They should also be kept cool, preferably below 70f.
They are eating live black worms and frozen brine shrimp.
If you are unfamiliar with this species, I'm glad to answer any husbandry questions that you may have.
They are one of the easiest amphibian species to keep, but as you can see, they don't like having their picture taken.
Prices are plus shipping to FedEx hub only- weather permitting. My shipping season will end soon.
