I had bought from Rainbow (reptile depot) and wormman and was not able to keep crickets alive for long. I was tired of unpacking all the dead ones and they already stunk when they got here. They would die off in a few weeks. I posted on some of kingsnakes forums and was starting to think about getting rid of my insect eating lizards. I was buying 1-2 thousand a month but they were all dying. I thought I was doing something very wrong. I bought 1000 from Grooms in mid-December and I STILL have them. They were so healthy that even in the cold there was not 1 dead one when I got them. (not 1!) I have had these guys here so long that they feel like pets! I figure I will save a couple hundred dollars a year by using Grooms. There are still no dead ones and no stink. (about 7 weeks now) Chris Grooms emailed me a few days after I got them to see if they had been ok. Man, that is pretty good service, a follow up email on crickets! I won't use any other supplier. |

Posted At 22:34:26 02/11/2001 Just wanted to back up Jeff, Grooms does good deals. My husband orderd 3,000 crickets right before Christmas, they ended up delayed and by the time they got here they were mostly dead. We called and they reshipped for free, no problem. They also do a nice over count. Just wanted to let all know. |

And best of all they are dynamic, I asked for a shippment to be delayed, then my plans changed and they shipped that day. I love doing business with someone that I can get ahold of and that will answer my emails. A+ for Grooms Cricket Farm |
