BAD GUY(?): "that_pete_guy@hotmail.com" (Currently 0 replies) Posted At 19:27:45 03/09/2001 Well, though nobody replied to my inquiry posted here, here's some feedback I can now unfortunately provide myself. "That Pete Guy" shipped us two beardies who he had claimed were German Giants - during further communication, but after my wife had already purchased them, he kind of stepped down from that claim by stating he "bought them from Peter Weis as German Giants". Nevertheless, that_pete_guy is not returning any of our calls, nor any of our emails regarding this issue. When the beardies arrived, they turned out to be WAY SMALLER than our regular beardie, despite the fact that Rockie, is about 4-6 months younger than they are. He alone is way heavier than the two of them together, and he's also at least two inches longer than they are. German Giants ... yeah right ... And for regular beardies they were way over-priced. I'm not willing to pay extra either just for the CLAIM of them being from Peter Weis, nor would I be willing to pay extra for this even if I had proof. The only reason we did pay the relatively high price tag for this couple is because they were claimed to be German Giants. Thus, until we here anything back from that_pete_guy, I can only advise everybody to be extremely cautious regarding his claims and business practices. |
