I just recv'd an emmy from Danny and it is flawless. I had a great experience from start to finish in dealing with Danny. The emmy made it from NJ to Ca without any problems. She was packed well and with the appropriate heat packs. I have dealt with Danny in the past and will continue to do so. I highly recommend Danny for anyone who is interested in tree boas or anything else he sells! Doug |

Posted At 04:39:36 03/17/2001 I just had to say I have known and dealt with Danny for years. He has been dedicated to emeralds for years and is one of few "emerald experts" out there. Great animals and the knowledge to give support after the sale. Add that to selling some of the nicest animals available anywhere! Don't hesitate to purchase from Danny, he runs an A-1 business! |

3495.html Posted At 11:32:39 05/21/2001 Danny Mendez has a list of victims longer than Timothy McVeys. It is commonly said, that if Danny is selling it, it's either dog ugly, or on deaths doorstep. My personal opinion of Danny aside, I have in the past purchased two Emeralds from him. The first, supposedly a CB '98 yearling weighed 80+ grams when it arrived in Oct. of '99. It proceeded to puke up the very first meal and many more before I managed to get it's severe regurgitation syndrome under control. Today, still suffering from this terminal condition and weighing 82grams, I am shipping it to another friend free of charge in hopes that he will have better luck than I did with it. As insane as it now sounds, I forgave this incident and purchased a second animal from Danny in Nov. of '99. This was a supposed CB '97 female. The animal arrived, shed, ate, puked, and was dead of a systemic bacterial infection that manifested a month later. Quality animals? I guess so, ...... bad quality. If mine were the only story like this, I could forgive and forget it as bad luck. But, the truth is one has but to go to The Tree Boa Forum and post an inquiry to find out the scope of the numbers of people that have had similar experiences with Danny Mendez. Feel free to call or write me at the addresses listed below for more detailed information, there is plenty. Don't be fooled by this guy or his circle of newby proponents. He recieved nothing but perfect animals (one of which was his second emerald tree boa, ever) that unfortunately failed to thrive under his care which is typical from what I understand of his collection.
