2480.html Posted At 12:46:35 04/11/2001 Hello Matt. My name is David and I have a friend who works for a pet store here in town called ,"Uncle Bills Pet Center". He orders from wholesalers for the store. He also has had bad exeriences with alot of them. I would list the names of them, but I am not ready to get into a battle with some of these companies. Plus , I don't care to sit here and try to remember all the facts about what occurred and how many times it did. What I do know is , he ordered from this wholesaler by the name of Extreme Reptiles. They are located in Miami , Florida. The guys name that he deals with is Alfredo. He has ordered various reptiles including, baby burmese pythons, baby redtail boas, leopard geckos, albino leopard geckos. savannah monitors , spiders, tarantulas, tortoises, fat-tail geckos and just today got in an Emerald Tree Boa to display at the store. He said the same thing about their first shipment being A+ and that he was worried that repeat shipments might not be as good or bad even. But, over time they have proven to him to be a good wholesaler in general. They even replaced an animal that died within the guarantee time limit and gave him no problems with that. It was , and anyone feel free to correct me, a King Viper spider or tarantula. I don't quite remember the name since I am unfarmiliar with spiders in general. But this thing was bright reddish brown with orange highlights and some nasty fangs . With no mercy for little mice. Horrible , horrible, horrible. Oh yeah, not to mention it was HHHHHHHUUUUUUUGGGGGGEEE!!!!!! About the size of an open palm from finger tip to end of palm. That's all I can offer about wholesalers. I hope that I have been of some help . If anyone out there has dealt with Extreme Reptiles and has had a different experience other than a good one, please respond so that Matt can be offered all information on them good and bad. I would hate to recommend someone to somebody else and have them get screwed. Thanks alot. Sincerely, David L. Hinojosa |

3435.html Posted At 16:02:23 05/18/2001 I purchased an adult male Meller's Chameleon (Chameleo melleri) from Alfredo last summer it arrived with many skin inperfections and a bacterial infection on it two rear feet. I called Alfredo and he would not return my calls so I finally had my lawyer call him and then sent it back losing $50 to ship it back. Alfredo also did not credit my Master Card until numerious phone calls and 4 MONTHS later. |
