John Payseng and I have done business on numerous occasions. However, recently things seem to be unraveling. Three straight shipments have been late. The last two shipments were short. The last shipment things went totally bad.. Starting three shipments ago, John started shorting shipments. A couple of lizards here and there, nothing too bad, but they were never replaced. Two shipments ago there were more shrotages and some of the animals died and were not replaced. This final shipmet a deal was worked out where John was sent $505 and a Hogg island Boa in enchange for animals. When the shipment came from his end, it was missing many of the two animals from the cash endo fot he deal, and two others were not all there (tails missing on Uromastyx). Along with thatall of the animals that were part of the trade for the Hogg Island were not there. Upon speaking with John I was told that the person that supposedly packed the package forgot to load the 6 ball pythons and 5 baby boas associated with the trade adn that he, upon returning home from a trip, would ship the animals. That did not happen. When John got home he informed me he did not have the animals to ship. Then he said that he would ship the following week. That did not happen either. He offered to pay me for the Hogg Island Boa and the Uros that were not sent. That did not happen. What has happened is that I am now forced to try to get a refund for the Hogg Island, that he essentially took, and the animals that either were not sent, or died soon after arriving. Many of the animals John has sent me were wild caught and were not able to adapt. Because of his actions I have lost an account with my best customer because I was not able to supply them with animals I said would be there, based on arrangements with John. I do not know what has happened to turn what was a great dealer into a less than reliable dealer, but it has. He still has my striped hogg Island Boa, I am out that. I am also out two Uromastyx, two others arrived with half tails. Over ten horned lizards that were shipped died within days of arriving, along with some pink swifts and red and blue tail skinks. Altogether, I figure I have lost a ton of money through my past three arrangements with John and have had to revert to using VISA to arbitrate the matter. I wish things had gone better, John. |
