I am just curious how many other people have had bad experiences with Reptile Warehouse or Mark Farber. I have had my own, but i don't want to go off on a rant about customer service, lack of knowlege, quality of animals, Price, or smell. And IS it true that Reptile Shack is just an online company for Mark Farber? No Accusations, just curious. I have heard from several sources that it is. I just find it unusual that Reptile Shack is offering Venomous in Georgia and i am unaware of a Permit. (plus the list looks VERY familiar to those who deal in wholesale). But, I just call them like i see them. IF IT IS TRUE, i just think that Georgia herpers should be aware that it is A LOT cheaper if they order online or go to another shop in Georgia (of course if you Ask Mark, he is the only one!) But, I guess he is only protecting his business. IF Reptile Warehouse and Reptile Shack are both owned by Mark Farber, i think it is very clever, he gets to start over and by not letting people know that he owns both, he is getting new business without the bad reputation (and odor) following him. VERY CLEVER! If they are not both Farber's endeavors, then please disregard. BUT, i am still curious about Reptile Wharehouse experiences (i have never heard a good one, but there is always a first).
(By the way, this is my real name an email, there has been alot of fake stuff going around.... feel free to contact me for any details and if need be, then I will post the details, but i don't think that will be necessary).

If you check out network solutions, Zach Klein owns "Reptile Shack". If you go to Reptile Warehouse's website, it is "maintained" by Zach Klein.... Hmm... That's too bad. At the least, they are very associated with each other.

I'm no net or computer expert, so I don't know if this means they are the same place or not, but type:

www.reptilewarehouse.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv

and...reptile shack's website comes up.

I also thought Hotlanta was the only hot dealer with the right permits in GA.

Everyone has an agenda. This industry seems to be over-competitive, and everyone is cutting each others throats. I know this is a board of inquiry, but only small people talk the time to unnecessarily attack a company that seems to be producing what it promises. Ive been to Reptile Warehouse and Hotlanta. I found Reptile Warehouse full of healthy animals and excellent service. Ive been to Hotlanta too. It was nice.

The owner of Reptile Warehouse, Marc, seems compassionate to me. Hell take the time and teach you the stuff you need to know. There arent too many people at that level who will take the time anymore. Its all about profits now.

I have now looked over the Reptile Shack website. The first thing I can say is the site is pleasing. It is well kept, maintained daily, and the product selection is competitive. Their collection of animals is comparable to some of the biggies like LLL Reptile and Reptile Depot.

Who cares about any links between the two companies? For instance, Reptile Depot owns at least 6 companies if you really look around, and LLL owns at least 2 companies. If Reptile Shack fulfills what it offers, who cares if they are related. I looked at Reptile Shack guest book and it seems that they have a lot of happy customers. Those who worry about this sort of stuff must have way too much time on their hands and are small people if you know what I mean

I have never done business with any of the individuals in question, but i do think that the insults posted by Mr. Smith should be addressed now i do not want to start a pissing contest here but why should someone care if this business is owned by the same person, lets see, if you get ripped off for whatever reason by someone would you want to do business with them again, i doubt it and they have two much time on there hands, come on, do you buy a car from the first place you look probably most of us check around so i quess we all have to much time on our hands, so we all must be small people with to much time on our hands since we read these posts, or because we want to spend our hard earned money smartly instead of giving it to some a**hole, well just my opinion and like i said i will not get into a pissing contest and waste anymore space on this forum and i have not done business with these companies before so i dont know there quality but i am objective but there was no reason to insult the individual that made the post and what we all do i our free time is our business not nobody else, and I will say thank you to the owner of this site for having enough time on his hands to keep it running

I'd just like to make it clear I don't care how many places anyone owns. I just saw the topic, did a quick search, and posted the results.
