I was thinking of buying some red eared sliders from him. Any one got any info about him or the sliders? My girlfriend likes turtles so I was thinking of surprising her, but I don't want to spend a fortune. Anyone know how to sex them? I wanted to get a sexual pair, but he said he couldn't sex them. I know how to sex boas almost at a glance, but I know very little about turtles. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Ernie |

Ernie- sliders are cake to sex once they get about 3" long. Males have longer claws, thicker longer tails, and their shells are more elongated. Females have short claws, small tails, and rounder wider shells. |
