Hi everyone. Yeah I know Kenny is supposed to be one of the “good guys” as far as reptiles goes, but it didn’t work out that way in my case. Back on March 12th I emailed Kenny about getting a Female Lavender Florida King Snake. I also called and left a message on his answering machine. We talked and he had a 22-inch female he could send. I mailed a check on the 13th. The snake we had talked about on the phone wasn’t the snake that was sent, but that’s another story I don’t need to get into. I did get a snake sent to me and it arrived on the April 13th. I know that sounds like a long time, but the check had to clear (it cleared on March 26th) and a couple of other things delayed shipping. As soon as the snake arrived I had health concerns about it (it was bleeding from the lower vent area). I email Kenny and called and left a message. He emailed me back and told me he’d send me another snake. Before the replacement snake arrived the first one died (it died on April 19th in route to the vet, it’s a 2 hour drive one way). The replacement snake arrived at 3:15 on April 25th. Once again I had health concerns with this snake as well, because it seemed to have the same problem the first one did (the same bleeding only not quite as bad). I emailed Kenny and called and left a message on his answer machine. I also took the snake to the vet. The first two vets who saw the snake didn’t have much experience with reptiles. The vets that were close saw the snake on the 25th and 26th. The more experienced vet saw the snake on the 27th (I made that 2 hour drive again). To make a long story as short as possible I’d spent $120.00 at this point and I emailed Kenny about returning the snake for a replacement or refund. He said “Its not worth it. I'll send you a refund and for the animal and well just call it even! I've been doing this for 10 years and never had an experience like this one! I would just like to send you your money back and forget it! Refresh me on how much you paid please!” I emailed him on the 28th telling him the amount I paid for the snake and shipping. I also told him that I didn’t expect a full refund, because he did have shipping costs. I left the amount of the refund up to him. I emailed him again on the May 10th. I sent my address and phone # in case he lost it. I also sent him a copy of the email I had sent on the 28th. I emailed him again on May 17th, 21st (at 2 different email addresses) and 25th (at 2 different email addresses). I also called him twice on the 21st and once on the 25th. I got the answer machine all 3 times. He hasn’t emailed or called me back. I’m still waiting for a refund. I don’t know if it will ever arrive, but it hasn’t so far. So even though many people have had good experiences with Kenny Gall, things don’t always work out. Linda Demadura |

3784.html Posted At 17:55:01 05/27/2001 Sorry to hear that, I've purchased animals and dealt with Kenny numerous times, he has always responded to my email inquiries extremely quickly and has "put up" with my many questions without any problems. 3797.html Posted At 23:16:33 05/27/2001 Hello T.B. I'm glad that you've had good dealings with Kenny. I never said he was a bad guy. I said he hasn't sent the refund he said he would. He also hasn't responded to emails or phone calls. At this point it's starting to feel like he's igoring me. Maybe you could email him and ask "what's up?". I know I can't get him to answer me.
