I purchased a snake a month ago and SETTLED for a price which INCLUDES SHIPPING (I told him that this price $665! is all I CAN AFFORD to pay shipping included.. if he agrees, we have a deal... and he AGREED!) After one month a Bill from Airborne Express arrived. He did not pay for shipping. I was very satisfied with the snake but his DISHONESTY is big deal! Don.. thanks a lot! i hope you are happy and very satisfied with what you did! |

Could you realize that there is a thing called HUMAN ERROR? NO! Could you have given me the benefit of the doubt that Airborne could have been at fault? NO! You are IMMATURE & PATHETIC! We had a very good transaction but you went and screwed it up. If you knew anything at all, you would realize S*** happens. I use Airborne ALMOST DAILY, and have had them bill the wrong person several times. What did I do? I made one simple phone call and it was all straighted out. Will I now make that call to fix this? NO! If you had waited for a reply from me, things would be fine. Am I being childish about this? Probably? Do I care? Hell no! Situations like this happens and he could have handled it better plus u have the right to inform us. A more reserved reply explaining what really went wrong but tried to turn the table instead. Do you really think he would refund you the charge if even if you didn't post? (with that attitude? who knows?) I wont deal with this person if it involves that high of a price. pay the shipping jomar q*#$(whatever ur lasname is..lol) and get a life:P |

5457.html Posted At 22:41:52 07/07/2001 Here's an update of how this ended: After one month of guilt that I felt, I decided to email Mr. Don Mercer and sincerely apologized for the damage I have brought him. I have already paid Airborne and accepted everything including the blame. I was surprised that he responded right away. He also apologized for his actions plus promised to paypal to my account the amt I've paid Airborne. I was moved by his response. Not only did he accept my apology! he also promised to pay the shipping as we have arranged before. Here's part of his actual email: ****************************************************** Jomar, " I am sorry for reacting in the manner I did, there is no excuse. I will follow thru and pay for the shipping. Send me the amount of the shipping bill, and I will send it to you via Pay Pal." "I am a man of my word, and will follow thru" Don ***************************************************** The deal we had was excellent. Everything packed very well and the animal is in 101% top condition. I just hope I didn't act the way I did. I didn't gave any consideration whatsoever. I did learn from this experience, I hope others too. Again, thank you very much for accepting my apology Don! I accept all the blame and shame on this post..Sorry fellow herpers! |
