I have received a beautiful Columbian Redtail male from LLL, unfortunately he regur. his first meal, after which I got in touch with Scott, and we went over my setup and discussed how long to keep him off feed and so on... Well, he regur. his second, small, meal, too... Scott offered to replace the snake with another one, and work with that snake at his place, to try to get him well again... I would do business with them any time again, customer service is important, and it is nice to know that it still exists in the reptileworld... thank you Scott Lucy |

4698.html Posted At 08:21:30 06/20/2001 LLL's great for what it is; a lower-price shop for medium (note this does NOT mean poor!!!) quality animals and supplies (in fact, I order feeders there weekly, and some supplements, etc.). Decent customer service though, and that's a mark in thier favor (BIG time, the only place with better I've bought from is Pro Exotics), and low prices, espically on supplies. I've got colo. B&W tegus, amazon tree boas, green tree frogs, a starburst baboon spider, adn some other stuff from them, plus supplies, so I think I'm qualified to comment. :) so...decent guy :) |

4705.html Posted At 10:38:03 06/20/2001 well, I sent the regur. male boa back on monday, they received it on tuesday morning, and since Scott knew how concerned I was about the snake, he called me immediately when they received it, and assured me that it was fine, and already set up in a seperate cage, so they can begin treatment/observation. That did make me feel a lot better... Then today, on Wednesday, the UPS Lady brought a BEAUTIFUL, I mean above average, columbian redtail boa male, he is a bit bigger then the other one, and just gorgeous... very tame, too, after I took him out , he just calmly and curiously explored my hands....what a sweetie... Right now he is in his cage, climbing around and exploring, little tongue flicking....he doesn't look stressed at all... I am also very impressed with the way they pack the animals, it is state of the art, and I have received several snakes in shipment...they literally make an art of it... I think customer service is very important, and with theirs I couldn't be happier... Not to mention, that I think this little guy i got, is above "medium"...he is beautiful... Lucy |

4707.html Posted At 11:06:49 06/20/2001 Heh, to honest, after a while, I think all of my babies are above average :D And I do agree with the CS side of things; one of the better businesses I deal with for that, and the packing. Just, like I said, most of thier stuff is medium (though part of that is large groups of their animals are WC, however the boas are CB, and I'm thinking of getting some myself *L*). |
