I bought some tegus from this guy. I found him on Kingsnake.com. He sent me junk, half dead animals. (one died) I have since fond several others who got screwed by him. I turned him in to the US Postal Inspectors and they are dealing with him now. Stay away from this guy. I have pictures of the animals he sent as they were being unpacked. He is just a scam. |

But he did not want to spend the money on the perfect ones, he wanted to save money and get the Bgrade animals instead. Then he was mad because he didn't get perfect animals? I don't know about his "several" customers that were unhappy, there has only been one other customer that wasn't happy out of the hundreds! I think Jeff is stuck in his own little imaginary world, where everyone one is wrong and he is always right. I offered to send him another more expensive tegu for free, and he then wanted to run his mouth on the forums and places like this(which these forums are good, if not abused by people like Jeff). Well the way I look at it, he got his moneys worth via his mouth costing me customers. I have several witness to the condition of the tegus when they were sent to Jeff. To get an idea of how far Jeff will go to not admit he is wrong, ask him to send the pictures he took of the tegus AFTER HE CUT THEM UP!, it is pretty sick! And Jeff, the Postal inspector charges are not a problem, you are wrong and you know it. I do have something for you to look forward to though, remember the virus you sent to me on the blank email? Posted At 12:33:04 03/26/2001 First, I cut up the tegus? You sent me scabbed over, infected animals and I cut them up? Did I give them lyposuction too? Did I glue stuck shed on them? That is just a JOKE. (and that is slander) To come on here and say that I "cut up" the tegus is just stupid. Who would do such a thing? (other than you)The pictures do not lie. I forwarded the pictures to Jacob (from above post) and he said they were sick. I was getting "stub tails" there was never a A or B grade in ANY emails before you sent the tegus. You said, "all the tegus are fat, healthy & beautiful". I don't think a tail impacts the health of the animals. Your "B-grade" must be as follows; gross neglect, improper diet (aka starvation), missing ALL toes up to the feet (stubs), open wounds, so weak they can't move. That is not what you said they were and that is not what I paid for. You sold me tegus that were near death (one died) because it was easier to ship them then to care for them. As far as the "free" tegu, I had a guaranty on the animals. I have it in an email. I contacted Kevin 15 minutes after I signed for the tegus. (I have proof, email records and USPS label) I said I wanted my money back. I told him these were junk and he had misrepresented them. He said he would send me another tegu to make up for it. I waited over 2 months and could never get ANY info about the tegu. He would not give the size, sex, condition, pictures... nothing! I filed complaints when it was clear that the free tegu was just a stall tactic. My reputation is CLEAN unlike you, Kevin, who sold a dead tegu to an guy and then re-sent the same dead one as a replacement! (that is what I was told) I have the same email that I have had for years, I noticed you changed yours. Wonder why? (bad reputation?) Jordan Russel has been to my shop and seen my tegus. I am sure he would answer anyone's questions about me or the condition of my animals. They are a hobby, not a business. I would never harm one of them. As far as your Federal Offense and a virus I am at a loss. What are you talking about? If you are trying to accuse me of sending computer viruses that is as stupid as your other excuses. I am a computer idiot! If I knew ANYTHING about computers I would have cut and pasted the emails here and made you look like the liar you are. I can surf the web and email that is ALL. (the webmaster of this forum knows that!) Your virus thing is just stupid. If anyone cares about all this stuff please email me. I will forward emails or mail you a copy of the e mail transcripts. Posted At 15:01:28 03/26/2001 I have to say that I have been to Jeff's shop and even the idea of him hurting an animal to get out of paying for it not only makes me laugh but makes me sick. He has a fairly decent sized group of tegus all the perfect example of health. I have nothing to gain by voicing my opinion here but I do feel that it's wrong to say that he would do such a thing. Jeff is a knowledgeable guy who knows his lizards and doesn't "screw around" when it comes down to doing business. Everything is straight accross and laid out from day one or there isn't a deal, so I find it hard to believe that he would buy B grade animals. Just my experience and opinion. Jordan Russell |

Posted At 16:37:49 03/26/2001 Yeah, OKAY Jeff, if you little buddies even new what you did to the tegus(and you have the pictures to prove it), they probably would be ashamed to even admit talking to you! Anyone that would like to hear what the tegus looked like before I sent them can contact me anytime. I would have NEVER sent out or sold tegus that looked like the ones in your "AFTER HACKING" pictures. As far as the virus, I cannot believe that you can deny sending that(Well actually, from you, I can), I have it on a disk with your email at the top. The only reason you did not get the tegu that I was going to give you, was because YOU ran your mouth and cost me customers. But, alot of people know how you are, not just me, so have fun running your mouth and denying facts, that is what your good at. And if you ever get the urge to torture animals to try and get money out of it, don't do it, just get counseling instead. You could probably use it anyways. Have a nice day, KevinS |

First off I think I have a fairly good reputation in this business and I wouldn't be sticking it on the line for some guy that I barely knew or if I thought any of this was true. I can say that it is not only unlikely but IMPOSSIBLE that Jeff would do that to an animal. It makes me sick to hear that you would blame him of that rather than reimburse him. Also why would he email you right off the bat if he mutilated them? Did he just walk over to the palm sander and go to town on them?? IF that's what you are implying then you had better come up with something better than that. Jeff is a succesful guy running his own business with a nice truck a nice shop etc.. there is no reason for him to do that to an animal for an easy what $200?? That fact alone makes this even harder to believe! Doesn't make any sense to me, in fact it seems to make you out to be pulling accusations out of the sky trying to save your skin... |

Many worm viruses actually attach themselves as a hidden (to the sender) attachment to emails that are sent out. As for Jeff as a person, Ive been dealing with him for a couple of months lining up the purchase of one of his newly hatched tegus, and hes been a great guy to deal with. The tegu arrived today, fat and happy, and very active right off the bat. WHile its too soon to tell for sure that the tegu was completely healthy, it certainly appears to be so, and generally tegus that are not healthy would not be such good eaters. Another point is what would Jeff have to gain by hacking up an animal to get out of paying for it ? All he gets out of it is his money back that he paid you (probably minus shipping charges and other things), and in return he has lost his time dealing with you, and then subsequently finding another person to buy the tegus he wanted from. Sounds to me like the dealer in question is trying to cover his own behind by blaming the customer for the poor condition the animal was shipped in. |
