I started a conversation with Jeremy about a week ago and we agreed on a trade my corns for his rats. Over the span of 6 days he changed the deal 4 times and tried numerous others. Everyday it seemed his story changed. I read the BOI and insisted he send first and he was kicking and screaming for me to check his references. I did and they sided with ME. So to ammend his rep. he agreed to send first and asked that I go on here and defend him. I said lets wait until the deal is done. Two different days he begged off shipping until toady when he told me his mom wont let him deal anymore!! What a colossal waste of my time. THANK GOD I din't ship first!DON't deal with this little boy! Let's hope mom puts her foot down hard!J |

It's people like this that ruin stuff for the rest of the herper community. I turned him in to Kingsnake.com because we don't need him screwing over any more honest people. Mike |

I am asking 125 a piece, or 350 for all 3.... you wont be disappointed with these Jeremy, lots of people have already expressed their opinions, because of all this and all the lies... don't expect too much business, you deff. won't get mine. Honesty is VERY important in any business, but especially this one where we deal with live animals (esp when we want to know bloodlines and genetics). People have offered opinions that you should just lay low for a bit... obvisouly you don't want to do that. |

I entered into what I thought was a deal with Jeremy several weeks ago. At that time he had two baby Amazon Basin Emeralds postes for sale here @ $600 each. I agreed to purchase one and we would split the shipping cost so I went through great lengths to send him $615 immediately. That same day I notified him through AOL Instant Messenger that the check was on the way. He told me he had some bad news, that it seems his brother left the tank cover ajar and the snake escaped and was missing. That night he posted a reply on this forum stating he did indeed have the snake. I confronted him with this the next day and he said he did have the snake it was just missing. I covered myself very well by sending him a Postal Money Order with restricted delivery which meant only he could sign for the envelope. To make a long story short and to give some sort of credit to Jeremy he did send my check back. When I last spoke with him he had the nerve to ask me if I would sell a snake for him at Kingsnake which I declined to do. Obviously he was banned from their site because shortly after he began using them again with a different E-mail address. I also think he should be banned from using Herpwantads because he is not ethical and doesn't have a clue about the meaning of the word. I was lucky to get my money back because I made it very clear to him that he would have gone to jail if I didn't get my check returned. I don't think he will ever make it in this business because he assumes everyone's an idiot. It's clear to me he tries to sell snakes he doesn't have. Everyone do yourself a favor and don't deal with this guy. |

5657.html Posted At 13:40:24 07/11/2001 At first blush, I agreed with Greg's suggestion that I ban Jeremy from posting on the HerpWantAds boards, but that could certainly lead to a nightmare with me having to constantly police every ad posted. I think a better solution would be for everyone to make absolutely certain they know whom they are dealing with before sending off their money and check the Board of Inquiry for case histories. I will certainly review ads made by particularly unethical people, but I would rather not get stuck with that job with everything else going on. If I don't remain neutral in the ads, I could possibly be considered as endorsing their business by not immediately deleting them. Hmm, perhaps a HerpWantAds Recommended list would be worthwhile considering sometime in the future. |

Not only would it create a nightmare for you but it would open up a whole new set of rules. As far as the "recomended" board, I am afraid it wouldn't be too long before it turned into a copy of this one. It would just give people more places to complain and give you a lot more editing to do. Having said this, i want to thank you for the job you are doing here.
