| james | Posted At 18:59:23 01/16/2001 I had purchased a baby anaconda on new years eve 2001, from serpent safari in gurnee mills, and I had noticed that it was kind of skinny but I was exited about getting one so I purchased it anyhow because ive never actually seen one for sale before. so I set up a fifty gallon terrarium it was a perfect enclusure. IT was much better than the cage it was in. Well two days later the snake was very Ill, about dead, so I brought it back that day and the manager said a vet would be called right away to look at the snake. granted this was a $200.00 snake and I wanted a replacement or my money back, well the lady was aprehensive and said she couldnt do either and that she had to call the owner first and shed call me back, well she didnt call back and I had my girlfriends dad go up ther to talk to her well they gave me another anaconda only this one was real mean, but not only that this one had also died within a week. I have tons of other animals including two other snakes that ive had for acouple of years I dont believe that I did anything wrong to kill the snakes. so i guess ill never buy from them ever again. and I hope no one else goes through the same headache either. and I had called to see how the first snake was about a week later, and the place still didnt have a vet ckeck it out. Very dissapointing... |
