I recently received a blonde Trans-Pecos ratsnake that I originally purchased from Doug back in November. The delay from purchase to shipping was due to an extreme cold snap, the Christmas/New Year holidays, and also because Doug wanted to test his new heat packs to make sure they were safe to use. In the mean time, we corresponded via email several times a week & I discovered that Doug is just an all-around friendly guy with a real dedication to herps. When it finally came time to ship the snake, he provided me with tracking numbers & kept in close contact to make sure she arrived safely. Upon opening the box, I found a well-packed snake in an appropriately-sized deli cup, surrounded by newspaper atop a heat pack in a styrofoam-lined box. I could only WISH that every animal I've ever received was packed as well as this! The blonde suboc is thriving, properly sexed and eats like a pig - everything Doug represented it to be and more. I would not hesitate to purchase animals from him in the future. KLG |
