I'm sure a lot of you know me personally, have done business with me, or just may have heard of me. My name is Patrick and I represent North Texas Reptiles. Of all the time I've been in this business, I have only had one BAD dealing...It was a stupid one really, that I want to clear up! Those of you who are reading this, that may want to inquire as to how I conduct business, may have your question answered here and now. I have, what I believe to be a very good reputation in the herp community...I do good business, am very fair if/when problems arise, etc. Sometime last year, I did a deal with Russell...We were doing a trade...He wanted some ball pythons, and I was getting some boas from him. Anyway...We set up a date to ship and we both did so. He only sent half of what he was going to ship me until he got the ball pythons. The only thing was that I totally misrepresented the balls because they were not mine. I never layed eyes on them and had them drop-shipped to him, and it was a terrible, terrible thing! I will not tell you about the balls, but it was bad. I had never done anything like that up to that time, haven't since, and I never will again!...Needless to say, I didn't receive the rest of his snakes, and I DON'T BLAME HIM! I have had deal of all kinds before...Animals that were DOA (I either refunded money or replaced with another animal(s)...I have called up every shipper known to man to chew some a$$ for packages not arriving to my customer's place in a timely fashion (where with a lot of businesses, it's the other way around...the customer has to do the chasing)...so on and so forth! What I'm trying to say here is that I do good business and have a good reputation, but I just wanted to clear things up with Russell in front of the whole herp community, and not let it drag on. To the rest of you...There are many people out there (I hope) that will pull for me, and vouch that I do good business, so please don't hesitate to give me a shot! This is the only deal that I have ever had go bad that wasn't cleared up immediately! It's business as usual at North Texas Reptiles. I will work to earn your business! I have pretty much written the whole deal off. Yet at the same time I had you in the back of my mind as a "shady guy". This right here is what seperates the scum from the true people. You won't believe the week I have had. There have been dealings with 3 people that have me stressed out of my mind! One will be posted as a bad guy here in the next day if he doesn't make good. It makes me sick how many horrible people are discretely hidden in this hobby. You posting this and making amends has slightly renewed a large amount of my lost faith in the people of this hobby. (wait a minute...wrong song!) lol I've spoken to Patrick before and I've done business with Jordan...THEY ARE BOTH STRAIGHT-UP GENTLEMEN (even though Patrick spells his last name funny), I wouldn't HESITATE to do business or friendship WITH EITHER ONE!! Patrick...it takes a real MAN to own up to his mistakes and make them right (I've BEEN THERE! Right, Jordan?)! The TWO of you guys is what this business SHOULD be all about!!
