dont deal with this guy he has ripped many people off and just tried to rip me off $600 he admited that he was only 15 and that he couldnt go to jail for cheating me out of animals. |

6327.html Posted At 00:17:59 07/26/2001 excuse me everyone, i don't post a lot and on accident i opened another thread and someone is freaking out about it. sorry i posted instead of replying. you people should try talking to vic because he compensated me for my reptiles big time and apologized to me. we went on a runaround just like all of you, but i spoke directly to him and he sent me two savanna monitors instead of the one i asked for. actually i have a few names that i am tired of hearing so i won't mention them (they know who they are) that weren't as big of a man as a 15 year old kid to admit that they were wrong and compensate for them. someone that has been in business for 20 years. thanks for the lizards and your slate is wiped clean with me. as for all of you other people, i am sorry to hear that you feel ripped off, it has happened to me a lot too. all i'm saying is that vic is the only one that compensated me and somebody gonna e-mail me b!tching at me for taking up for him. and opening another thread and all this other stuff, like i care about anything but my reptiles...this is nothing against anyone and i do good business and have never ripped anybody off (and know what it feels like and would do the same thing you people are doing but when someones snaps at me for speaking my mind like everyone else on this board, i seem to get a little agitated, sure you understand)the most that i've done to be bad businessman is being a little late on a shipment. but they did get what they wanted and i kept in touch with them everyday. hell jerry tubbs kept my snakes for 3 mos without sending me anything, imagine that happening to you and them him getting mad at you for getting mad at him for keeping your snakes for 3 mos. and then sending you the wrong thing, and starving one of your snakes that you sent to him that you wanted back, but you called off the deal abut he had already sold one of your snakes before you were sent anything. oops, i sold it. i advise against doing business with jerry tubbs! i had no choice about my snake. i told him to send them both back, he couldn't because he sold one (in case no one understood first) |

6357.html Posted At 11:51:02 07/26/2001 I am not a law inforcement officer or lawyer, but I do not think he is excused from laws and scams (that is of course he did what he is accused of). Just a side note, I think it is a travesty to this and any other business that has the amount of children in it as this does. We are not talking lemonade stands here people. We are talking about MANY people that have been accused of various things lately and unfortunately it seems most of them are under 18. I am not jumping all over minors, BUT I do think there is a pattern developing around here and I personally do not like it. Granted you can be cheated by someone of any age, but I think you all (adults) agree that as children we had this invencible mentality, hide behind mom and dad, etc. Maybe we should try to get a law passed about minors dealing over the net. Hell, they cannot buy smokes, alcohol, drive (if under 16), go to an adult site (if you know what I mean), but they sure can sell you something they say is worth "X" amount of dollars when it is far from the truth. Again, like I said, I am not a lawyer, but look at it this way. One person talks to another via email and sets up a deal. The deal goes bad due to lies or whatever. Wouldn't you think that the emails are admissable in court and are SLIGHTLY considered contracts? A minor is not able to be involved in a contract so how can they do this. What if one day you sell a snake to a minor and then mom or dar calls you up asking you what the hell you are doing selling a snake to his/her child. I am not sure if you as the seller would be obligated to refund the money, but at any rate it sure would be a waste of time. I may be off base here, but it is really starting to PISS ME OFF!!!! PS. I have also spoken to his (alleged) father, who seems to condone whatever it is vic is doing, including ripping people off. I was going to do a deal with Vic, but it so happened a friend of mine told me about him. So, I contacted Vic via email and asked for a phone call discussion. he was very young. He tried very hard to get the animals away from me. But time and time again, when he said he had shipped, I held my animals back to see if the animals he claimed he shipped were actually sent. They were not. Each time he woul give some excuse as to why he could not get them out in time. In the mean time, I asked to speak to his father on a number of occasions to find out what he knew and what he condoned. he told me Vic had done this many times and that he was personally stating that it was ok to do business with his son and that he had the animals he said he had. No, either Vi's not his dad, either he is too stupid to know what Vic is doing as far as trying to and accmomplishing ripping people off, or he is turning a blind eye to what is going on, and this is worst of all. Do not, DO not, DO NOT, do business with Vic. If you need proof of what I am saying, ask Vic to give you his number. Ask to speak to the father, who is probably someone Vic gave $20 to, cleaned up, shaved and gave a good meal to in orde to get him to say what he does, because if I was Vic's father, i would kick his little A** and teach him a lesson. Oh, and by the way, Vic, I believe that New York is one fo those states that convicts the parents for the crimes of the child. |
