I'm looking for a cage to house my savannah monitor. I looked on the RHA website, and they sounded nice. Has anyoine used their cages before? Results?

I have, and I think they look really nice BUT:
They're hard to get a gradient in. When Ig ot one, the lights (whichare of course the easyist way to heat a cage) were distributed evenly, making establishing a good gradient difficult.

The bottom was incredibly flimsy, something like an 8th of an inch of melanine. It would up falling out, and I put some boards down underneat.

I don't think they'd be really stackable, no matter what they say.

The cages look really nice,a nd the customer service is great, but the cages themselves? not worth it. Go with cattle trough or a vision (or bush, I've heard they're pretty good), or make something. THese cages just ain't suitable, in my experince.

I have one and I like it. It was very easy to put together, and looks great. I don't have a problem with a gradient because I got a screen cutout on the top and is about 3/4 the total length of the enclosure. This way I just put the light on top of the screen to one side. I do agree the bottom is too flimsy. Customer service was nice, although it did take around 3 weeks for them to deliver. I would and probably will buy another sometime.

I have three from RHA. They are well made and, I agree, the bottom is flimsy for larger animals, but will work fine for most smaller boas, ie Hoggs, Bolivians etc. I had a borneo in one and that will just NOT work. They only other problem is that theadvertised measurements are a little short when they arrive. The 15" tall cage is actually 12 ' or something likethat. Just ASK for actual in cage dimensions before you aorder. I also recommend BARRS.com. He makes excellent cages at a great price.
