When the subject of Neil and the Snake Pit popped up in another thread not to long ago, some of us were a little skeptical on conditions within the store. I myself, posted about my last experience with the Snake Pit. It was the first time (and last) that I had ever visited the store about four years ago. The place was totally disgusting. Several cages had multiple snakes housed together laying in their own feces and shed skins. I turned and left within a few minutes. When I submitted my post, I did mention that I did not know if Neil was the owner back then or not. Neil informed me that he was not the owner of the store back then. He e-mailed me and told me that he has totally turned the place around and invited me to come visit and introduce myself. I visited the Snake Pit this afternoon. Neil was not there so I just looked around his store for awhile. I'm here to say that Neil has a very nice store. Very, very clean, all the cages were clean and had fresh water.....no odor. He also has some very nice art work (paintings & drawings) of herps. Someone in his family is very talanted because I noticed the artist has the same last name as Neil! The time and hardwork it took to turn that place around really shows. Good luck Neil!

I'm not computer literate so I don't know what a URL is?? That's the only address I have for my father's Stained Glass Sculptures and Pastel Paintings! Try everything EXCEPT the "/stainedglass" part...see if that works! I have no problems getting there, and I only use WebTV?? Sorry for the hassles.....Neil

I would like to say I've e-mailed Neil a couple of times seems like a nice guy. I've never been to his place of buisness but it sounds like he's really done a good job of making the place look great. But Neil I'm gonna have to correct you on somthing. I went to your fathers website and your wrong it wasn't amazing it was absolutely incredible! If I had just 1/50th of the patience your father has to do what he doe's I'd be happy! I take my hat off to your father he is a very talented man,but I'm sure he doesn't need me to tell him that. Have a good night and take care all. billie
