First let me ask that the "webslave" allow this thread to go on. No, it is not really about any one experience in detail, but I think it serves the same purpose just in mass form. With all the negativity that has gone on here as of late, I would like for EVERYONE to post those names of people you have dealt with and had a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! No details need to be posted unless you want. I think repeat names from people would be fine as well. I just feel those that do have credibility and great service do not get recognized enough. No, you might not be able to remember everyone, but any positive people/companies will do. I will choose to list the names and what I got from them so people can use that info if they are looking for something in particular. Their customer service was great, prices fair, shipping impecable, and the geckos were horribly under-represented. The photos didn't do them justice. 7457.html Posted At 07:53:00 08/15/2001 My first exposure to the herp world came from ::gasp:: a pet store called Fish & Critters. From them I bought a bullsnake in February. To this day, anytime I go into that store, the staff make a point to ask how my Nicola is doing, inquire how she is growing, and make sure I have had her looked at by a certified herp vet. They are a pet store, and they have the some problems, but they do seem to care about the few reptiles they carry and their customers. The only breeder I have dealt with has been Kathy Love...an A+ women if there every was one. She went out of her way to answer my questions and shipped my little Gurney to me in perfect condition. She has my recommendation and business for life. |

Dwight Good (in 2000 and 2001) - got total of 4.1 corns he was very upfront, honest and overall great guy IMO highly recommend Brian Baker (in 2000) - got total of 1.4 corns straight forward guy, nice stock LLL reptile (in 99, 2000, 2001) - only bought supplies, but they always arrive when stated and what I ordered, good specials So far, that's it... |

Trades are another area he excels in, you always seem to get the better deal, probally because you recieve quality, properly sexed animals and get no suprises. Brett Mazimann (Hypo Tangerine Dreams) - Awesome lizards and service and an all around good guy to get to know. Camlon Reptiles - Really nice lizards and excellent service. Marvin Fowlkes - Really impressed with the snake I purchased from him. Tim Dees - My first HerpAuction deal and the animals were just as advertised. Serpents Den - Bought a pair of Nigritis off them that I "can't stop" from producing. Herp Tech (Draper Utah) - Nice animals at great prices.. Have done business several times with them. Glenn Polanco - Nice Mandarin rats and great service. East Bay Vivarium - John and Cliff do an excellent job selling quality reptiles.. Michael Matiston (Kringles rescue) - Nice snakes at a nice price. Bill Gillingham (Great Valley Serpentarium) - Nice, quality animals from a dealer who knows his profession.. I haven't done that many deals online, only 3 have been bad, the rest were great. A lot of the names I can't remember, but if I do I will post it: -Thomas Davis (great guy with great snakes!) -Victor Ezier (started out bad, but he made it good.) -the nice man I got the striped jungle carpet python from. Great snake, great eater, never had 1 problem with) -the guy from Florida who's name I want to say starts with a B. (i am terrible with names, please forgive me!) I got a beautiful Dumerils boa from. Lots of pink.
