Wanted to post that we just received a shipment of animals from Michael (part of a trade deal) and they look wonderful. He sent us a pair of Okeetee corn yearlings (het for blood) and a pair of glossy snakes that will breed this coming season. They look excellent despite the shipping company's lack of delivering on time. They were sent overnight, guaranteed by early a.m. and they took 2 days and didn't deliver until almost 12:30, 2 hours late. Not Michael's fault...but because of how he had them packaged, they were just fine. Give us an opportunity and we'll deal with him again. |

Personally I find it offensive and have trouble believing it wasn't directed at me as well as Michael. Sir, I don't know you, you don't know me and I can state with certainty that we've never done business or spoken before. I can state that in this deal, Michael acted as nothing less than a reputable individual. I can't speak for your personal dealings with him, but I only wrote about my own experience. The corns we received were absolutely beautiful specimens of the Okeetee variety (het for blood phase) and I believe it was the male that was actually more than expected and a real gem. The glossys were exactly as presented. They outwardly appear in good health with no scarring or other visible defects. I believe these are WC, as also expected on this end and if this is any example of his standards for WC, then his standards are fine. If not, then we'll just say that I got lucky and don't regret this particular deal. Michael was looking for the albino SD gopher we sent him to add to a personal breeding project. I believe he is also getting a good deal on a snake we could no longer use in our projects here. She originated from Exceptional Quality Snakes in Tulsa and is from Applegate stock. She's 2 now and should breed this coming spring for him producing either hets or possibly albinos depending on the male(s) he has available. Now, if that's also an idea of the snakes he breeds, I'd say his choice(s) in personal projects is higher than average. Now, before I forget, if the reference to who he associates with was actually directed at me, then I suggest, sir, that you reconsider your thoughts and first figure out just who it is we do deal with from time to time. I'm sure that some of those individuals would be shocked at this assumption and tell you exactly how "off" you are. But then again, they probably wouldn't waste their time responding to such nonsense. |

I am a firm believer in a person getting as good as he gives, I have dealt with "Double D", so I am sure they came through with Mr. Mastison equally as well as they did with me. In return, it appears they were treated well. ~I, too, have been "lucky" in the majority of my transactions and have not been conned or scammed..not seriously, anyway. I have taken a few chances with people I did not know and it worked out well. ~I have had a few close calls, but with time, perseverance and patience, worked through to a satisfactory ending. Harsh words, bad-mouthing and name-calling are not and will never be a part of my negotiation. I will continue to deal fairly and honestly with everyone in the hopes that they will do so with me. BUT...even if that turns out NOT to be the case, I will NOT make a fool of myself by lowering myself to the level of the more deceitful people in this hobby/business. ~I'm not a young kid and have "been around the block" a number of times. Yet, I am constantly very surprised at the immature and downright nasty responses I see posted in this forum, and in particular, this thread. ~Jim and Fred(especially)there is always a better way to get your point across with resorting to childish and schoolyard verbal antics. I have learned more about which people to stay away from by reponses like yours than by "reports" from others. ~Shame on you! jude :( |

"fred" I have been busy after reading a couple of your posts, and it would seem that nobody at either MSN or hotmail know of your existance,"it must be a false name". So, your too afraid to use your real name, and your slandering my name.I would like you to name these people your refering to name. I have two people that I have had problems with. 1. Mickey Cook- I sent him exactly what he order, but it wasn't good enough. After investigation on my behalf, Mickey's "friends" stated, "Mickey actually was HOPING for a proven breeder for the price of a baby, and really doesn't know that much about snakes". 2. James Parks - I have apologized and made my offer to replace his order right here on the forum. He refused both. Nothing I can do for that situation now. So, minus those two individuals, name them. I would be very interested in finding out who I have done any wrong business with. My customers know that they can feel free to contact me with any problems. So, if there is a customer of mine, whom I have not made this point clear to, give me his/her name. Thanks again David & Jude. M.M. |

I have never had any problems with the reptiles arriving alive and or being ripped off by Mike. Now you are certainly entitled to your oponion but do you actually have any proven facts from the deals you have done with Mike, if not shut the hell up. |

All he wants to do is whine and play a victim. Well, then let him be a victim, and you Jim, you can be his knight and shining armor. If your going to post something about me, at least know the facts. I did not and would never ship any animals knowing that they are going to die! I run a Rescue for pete's sake! I am saying this for the benefit of others who may read this post, not for a man who doesn't even raise the herps that he sells. If anyone should be here griping, it should be your wife, at least she's a herper. I have one other unsatisfiable customer. Mickey Cook, I have all of his e-mails, phone conversations, and posts. He stated that he wanted a king that would be breedable the following year, not this year! That is exactly what he got. He also finds it easier to go through life tugging on the public heartstrings in hopes of pity. I am done with James, Mickey, and most of all you Jim. My customers and adoptee's know me, and that is all that matters. |
