I received an e-mail late last night/early this morning from someone inquiring about my trio of bush vipers. He wrote and asked question after question after question. I asked him his age and location. He wrote back and told me he was in PA, which doesn't require a permit to keep vens, and he said he was 22. I told him I would sell them to him because of that. He then kept asking question after question about them. Now...just about 24 hours after the first e-mail, I have received a whopping total of FIFTY THREE e-mails of questions...some of which he has repeated upwards of three times! I am all for questions, especially when it comes to owning your first HOT snake, but just the frequency, and the same questions repeated over and over, didn't sound right to me. Needless to say, I REFUSED THE SALE! Another thing...He never sent his name in any of the e-mails, but his e-mail address is [email protected]. If any of you receive e-mails from this person wanting HOTs, or even dangerous non-venomous snakes, just be careful in selling them! He just doesn't seem right. This is just a heads-up! When your inquiring about an animal dont you usually put your name on the email? Well this guy didnt and to me that seems weird. Venomous snakes are dangerous, and Patrick just wanted to be careful. As far as keeping hots illegally, who hasnt bent a rule here and there. If a new city ordinance was passed here today banning hots or large constrictors, I would be happy to break the law. Brittney, I have never met you and you may be a great person off of the computer but your online personality sucks. Patrick, dont let the miserable people in this hobby keep you from enjoying it. You were right Brittney...for the first time ever, that I've seen. I won't return your e-mails. I really haven't talked to anyone that you or Joey send e-mails to (which seems to be everyone that says something bad about you), that returns your e-mails. I will not return e-mails that look like this: f*%$#...as**(*..moth#$$fu34@#$#. Sorry...I just don't return those for some reason. I am only writing this so there is an understanding. As for HOT snakes...If you were selling this species, which just happens to have NO ANTIVENOM, you might be a little hesitant...........well maybe not you...........to sell them to someone that asked the types of questions this person did. I answered every single one of them as well....How do you think I made the sale if I didn't answer them??? It was only after receiving the same question 3 times within 24 hours, did I make the decision to refuse the sale! The question repeated 3 times was, "What size cage would be suitable for them?" Of course it was phrased three different ways when asked. Just a bit of information Brittney...I told you and Joey, once before, that if you persisted in keeping up these false accusations about the way I keep my animals (I see you put, "That is what I heard." this time), without knowing first hand, and perhaps steering any of my potential customers away, that you or Joey would have some legal matters to deal with. This is just a bit of information that I HEARD: I heard that the Hammond Police are looking for any information on Joey they can get. I also know the seargent's name, but I don't think it is necessary to post it here or now. You can take this information for what it is worth. Stay out of my business and I'll stay out of yours from now on, and we'll be fine! At this point, I really don't think it would be in you or Joey's best interest to keep trying to give me a bad name without knowing the facts. Any e-mails you send me will be copied and saved as well, so please don't do that either. Until I start getting complaints from people on how I do business and/or ripping someone off, I am just going to keep doing exactly what I'm doing...GOOD BUSINESS! I absolutley don't see anything wrong with patrick's post. I try not to sell to inexperienced people. And when I do I always include care sheets. but no amount of caresheets would have helped that guy...specially with hots. Hey patrick.....I love drama....Tell me what you know.
