On August 11th I purchased 3 young children's pythons from Jerry. They were a good price and have nice bloodlines. The payment was easy and quick. The pythons arrived on the 16th and they were all really beautiful. However, one arrived sick and I e-mailed and called Jerry asap. When I got a hold of him he was very cooperative and I decided to send it back to him and he would send a new one. I payed to ship back and he payed to ship the new one so I was fine with that. I recieved a nice healthy snake about two days after we talked. I am really happy with the 3 snakes I have now. They are gorgeous and are all eating well. any questions u can e-mail me Thanks |

Glad to see the animal was replaced....but hardly something I'd race to the BOI to post as a "Good Guy" considering that this is not the 1st or even the 5th time I have seen this individual involved with shipping less than healthy herps. |

8294.html Posted At 16:26:29 08/27/2001 Is it just me or does Jerry seem to have a LOT of sick snakes? I have heard of him sending sick and/or dead snakes to a LOT of people. I think there is either some diesese spreading over at Jerry's place, or he is just not taking care of his reptiles. I think it's both. You know Jerry after you have a bunch of sick ball python imports, you should really CLEAN the enclosures they were in VERY WELL, after you sell them to someone and before you put new snakes in and infect them. Oh, and you have to FEED them too. And they need certain heat and light. I think we need to send Jerry some care sheets! |

So she has every right to post a good guy on the deal if she wants. As far as for billy franklin sounds like to me your on her just to sling mud and start trouble and flap your lips about people that you don't know anything about. HHHUUMMM! I did some research before I decided, but perhaps not well enough. I felt that it was somewhat of a gamble, but I was won over by the price and the parents of the snakes (genetics). I was very disappointed when I opened up the box and saw a sick snake. I was angry yes but I dealt with it the best I could. I didn't get what I paid for. But I was very relieved that he agreed to send me a new snake without any hesitation. And yes I was not thrilled about having to pay more shipping charges but its not like I had to pay for all of it. It could have turned out worse. What if he had totally refused to send a new snake and I would have to either pay much more than $35 in vet bills and might have ended up with a dead snake anyway. I got the new snake and they are all doing well and they ARE very nice looking IMO. Better than any of the ones I've seen at shows. Soooo.......I posted "good" guy not "great" guy. And I told the truth. People can think of it what they will. |

Look, I've never seen any of Jerry's animals, but I have talked to him on the phone a couple of times...and, I've got to tell you, he seems like a very personable and friendly guy! There was a problem and you worked it out! That's what adults are supposed to do! Now, me personally...I would have let you KEEP the "sick" snake and STILL sent you another one! I wouldn't have wanted you spending any more on shipping than you already did the first time! But, that's just me! I do have ONE QUESTION, though....Jerry....why did she BUY them on the 11th, but didn't RECEIVE them till the 16th??? Please tell me you shipped them Next Day Air??? You just had to wait for the check to clear, right? I hope so! |

8312.html Posted At 20:26:37 08/27/2001 I bought 4 baby redtails, and a 100% het for albino ball from jeryy, hmm, about two months ago, well, to make a long story short, all of them died, but one redtail, and the ball, and now i am wating on him to get more reds, who thinks that I should have to pay for the 2nd bill, shipping I mean??? I mean, at first, I said shipp them all together, her shipped 3 out of 5, cause one was sick, and the ball had just eaten, RIGHT before he was supposed to send.... I don't think I should have to pay shipping twice, when it wasn't my fault they died.... who all is on my side??? thanx, bye |

8320.html Posted At 22:45:47 08/27/2001 most reputable delaers will not ship sick animals, but usually if there is a problem they will replace the animal AT NO COST TO PURCHASER-as long as the shipper is notified within a reasonable time frame(48hours is ours)-a good dealer will send a replacement--i know we have paid on 2 occasions to have a questionable animal shipped back to us and paid to ship the replacemtn back out to the customer--just my .02-both times it seemed to be a little bit overworried customer type situation, but it is still our standard practice- |

I wish he would have just sent me a new one. I'm sure the one I sent back was a gonner and I'm not the type to just let it sit and get worse. But the fact is that I just got done dealing with a sick snake and put a lot of money and time into it just to have it die recently. Now I'm sick of dealing with bad breeders. I'm sorry I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Like I said, I learned from it my mistakes, and his. To Neil: I payed through paypal on the 11th and he said he only ships Tues-Thurs. airborne express next day. |

8590.html Posted At 18:28:55 09/02/2001 I would not buy anything or dou bus. with him.He is a thief.i sent him a snake in trade,paid shipping and when it got to him he said it had respitory infection.He was to send me some balls but had these excuses when it was time to ship child was sick,he does not ship on certain days,roof or ceiling collapsed,internet does not work and you name it I have had him use it.I called him last week and said he would ship out some animals and they never came.Jerry since I know you will read this why don't you respond since you don't take my phone calls or return my emails. |
