8432.html Posted At 14:30:57 08/30/2001 I know Steve for years, and became good friends. From my dealing with him, he is definitely a 100% honest guy. And so far, I haven't heard anything bad or evil about him. And from my understanding of the problem between you two(I am in contact of both sides), I think the mail service is at fault. From my personal experience, when you have a mishandling case like this, there is nothing you can do. Because it's illegal to ship reptile/arachnid through post office mail, you can not get any compensation from post office even if they admit they mishandled your package. By filing a complaint, you or steve won't get anything done except risking a "federal offense" charge. So, I think one of you will have to suffer from this incident. That's my two cents on this issue. Moral of story(hahaha), DON"T USE EXPRESS MAIL(USPS, airborne, fedex, etc)!!!! PS. Ben if you are reading this, you know how much I HATE EXPRESS MAIL NOW. |

8437.html Posted At 15:39:44 08/30/2001 Me again, Chen is correct the trade was to be completed today, but when the box arrived with my 1.1 neonate chondros it was empty... it also looked a little fishy. After talking with Steve and Chen, I believe that the 1.1 chondros were removed from the box as it had fresh tape on it and the ice pack was gone. I truly trust that Steve sent his end of the bargain, but what am I to do, he now has a 1.1 pair of adult Jungles and a 1.0 adult BCI and me nothing... Is there any recourse he and I can take against the company that handled the package? Ryan |

8538.html Posted At 11:52:53 09/01/2001 From what I known, it's impossible for you to get any kind of compensation, because the shipping services already have regulation against this kind of materials being shipped. I've dealt with Steve on numerous occations, he is definitely one of the best guy I've dealt with. Luck... |
