Hello all! I recently traded a Playstation 2 to Marcus Howell for 2 LTC Rainbow Uromastyx. While working out the shipping details Mr Howell told me to ship the PS2 next day air. I told him it would be very expensive and he assured me he would pay part of the shipping which ended up being $96.00. Well almost a month later and I still haven't received any reimbursement. To make matters worse the animals quickly starting going down hill the day after I received them. I have since given them to a couple experienced in the rehabilitation of reptiles and last I heard they are still not doing well. If anyone has dealt with Mr. Howell before I would like to hear about your experiences. Thanks Jackie Lapradd |

He's always come forth with whatever the deal came out to be. I have actually bought some snakes and dragons from him that are doing very well. By chance have you emailed him or IM'd him and reminded him about the promise to pay on the shipping? I'm sorry to hear that you were not able to keep the Rainbow Uro's. Did you try everything we had talked about?? Possibly did you give them a warm bath to help warm them up and get them hungry?? Jackie try emailing him or catching him online and reminding him about it. I'm sure he will more then willing to send you the half of the shipping that you requested. Please try to email him. |

9079.html Posted At 00:25:22 09/15/2001 I have had deals with Marcus Howell and have had no problems with him. The Rainbow Uro's that Jackie is refering to, were mine. Marcus and I had made a deal with the Uro's and I was very satisfied. I am sorry to hear about the Rainbow Uro's not doing so well. Both of the Uro's were very healthy and eating well when Marcus shipped them. Jackie, were you able to use any of my suggestions that I had emailed you with?? |

He did mention to me that he had trades some rainbow uros and that the new owners were having problems with them, to which he showed remorse. Hell, you could have sent it same day using Delta airlines and it only would have been $63 or so. A box 10lbs or under through Airborne is around $35-$40. 9086.html Posted At 11:37:55 09/15/2001 Um, I thought that's what this post is for to inquiry about someone. Besides that Jackie didn't go on here down grade Marcus in anyway. If you read the post she does not say one bad thing about Marcus. Even in her subject heading she puts a question mark after it as to ask other people about him. Most the time people go on here and down grade the person in the subject line let alone in the post its self wich she did niether. Maybe she should have e-mailed him maybe she should have did it this way either way its her right to handle it how she wants. It must have worked because it jarred his memory that he owed her money. It's amazing to me how many peoples memories come back to them when they see thier names on here. Just my 2 cents worth not meant to offend anyone. Billie. |

This is always a risk you take when dealing with any living animal. Mr. Howell did make the offer to return the PS2 but I told him not to worry about it. However He also said he would get the money out right after Labor day. I also emailed him before this conversation and got no response. I don't like to beg for what's owed so I decided to get other peoples input. If everyone noticed I was very careful not to talk bad about Marcus in any way. I simply ask for whats owed. By the way I shipped UPS next day and still have the paperwork to show the cost as being $96.00 |
