Kenny Gall at rainforestrarities.com had a snake I wanted to purchase. I managed to catch him on the phone and we talked for a while. After some questions I decided to purchase. I asked if he could wait a couple of days so I could see if my PayPal account was in order(I hadn't used it for over a year) and so I could make sure everything was set up for the snake. He said that was all fine. Seemed like a nice guy. I got everything set up and Paypal straightened out. I emailed him and never heard back. I called and only got an answering machine. I saw for a while that the snake I wanted had an "On Hold" sign on it. So I assumed that Kenny's job had him very busy. I offered to pay him and he could send the snake later. But after half a dozen or more phone calls and at least that many emails I never heard from him again and the page that had the snake "On Hold" (for me I presume) disappeared. I can't understand why he couldn't have told me why the deal went queer. Did the snake die, did he sell it to someone else, did I offend him somehow, did he have a personal crisis? What happened to my snake? Take this for what you will. Kenny seems MIA to me. Is he a good guy, a bad guy or just missing? |

9789.html Posted At 16:13:31 10/04/2001 Just wanted to let you know that I've done biz with Kenny in the past, and he is a great person to deal with. I'm sure you both can imagine the time it takes to properly care for hundreds of animals, plus the obvious expo traveling, etc... He also is a bounty hunter and I'm sure that can have it's "moments" as well. Don't let not hearing back from him for awhile opt for not purchasing from him. He's got great stuff at great prices and I'm sure as soon as he's able, he'll take time to answer all of your questions, and ship your order promptly. I hope this helps. |

9810.html Posted At 21:08:40 10/04/2001 I had a similar experience with Kenny Gall as R.W. & Ken. I sent money to his Paylpal account as a deposit on some animals. I called and emailed numerous times too. After a few eeks I finally got an email saying he wasn't sure if those animals were available?! Another week or so later after a few more emails stil no reponse. I found someone else that had GREAT animals and was he was AVAILABLE to sell his animals. So I wrote Mr. Gall and ask him to refund my money back to my Payapl account. The next day the money was there?! I don't get it either. But I am sure glad I went elsewhere or I still might be waiting for those animals. |

9816.html Posted At 21:37:46 10/04/2001 I understand the nature of Kenny's job and was very patient. But the deal I was talking about started in mid July and I gave up trying to reach him sometime in September. I would still love to know what happened. |

9834.html Posted At 00:44:56 10/05/2001 Many difficulties here too. I've been trying to get a hold of him for almost a month now calling and emailing. I finally got a response via email stating that he had lost all records of the money I had sent him (almost $3000.00!) Now I'm waiting for a response again. I told him I wanted to give him the remainder in person or get a refund. Hopefully all will work out but I'm very disappointed in the "service". Be careful. |

9836.html Posted At 03:12:37 10/05/2001 I sent him some money for some pueblans about two years ago.I called him he said he had the money and would send them out the next week.About two weeks went by and so I called him again.He said he forgot and would ship out on the next monday.Two more weeks went by so I e-mailed him upset and he e-mailed me back saying that he sold them at a show and had forgot about me.I got my money back about two weeks after that and I will never never buy anything from him again.He has had some stuff I was interested in but I will never TRY and buy from him again.. shannon brown high sierra reptiles |

9851.html Posted At 10:26:40 10/05/2001 I posted to this site two days ago and suddenly my post has disappeared. I bought from Kenny Gall last week. Yes, it was hard to get a hold of him. I tried for about a month before I actually got a hold of him. I have heard good things about Kenny in the past as well. I was very happy with the snakes I recieved... Kenny is a good guy in my book! |

All in all I think Kenny is very busy and may be a little overextended, but I feel that he is trustworthy and honest, and I would not hesitate to buy from him again. |
