Man that is so cool! I remember living in Florida and hatching out the eggs that the softshells would lay in my backyard. I was fishing for bass once, and I thought I had a huge one on my line, I reeled it up and it was a full grown softshell. Luckily I was able to get the hook out of its mouth without getting bit.
