The plant is Anthurium salviniae. An extremly large and very rare terrestrial anthurium, the leaves can reach 6 feet or more and almost 3 feet wide. This plant resides at the side of the 3,000 gallon pond in my "Costa Rica Under Glass" atrium. I keep a large number and variety of tropical tree frogs and green anoles in the "rainforest" and am looking for new animals to add. NO SNAKES or Iguanas. My wife hates snakes and iguanas eat my orchids. I've got hundreds of extremely rare plants in this atrium in the NW corner of Arkansas. If you have compatible animal suggestions or wish to trade animals for plants please contact me.
